Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique holiday park on the coast of Cumbria. Take in the lake view and peaceful surroundings. With the beach and coast to your left and the magnificent mountains to your right. The space 1 Sunset View is located on the beautiful Port Haverigg Marina, Millom, Cumbria. The lodge is positioned on the hill looking down over the 200 acre freshwater lake. On the lake you will find the Lakes Aqua Park which is available to guests to book during the spring and summer months. Next door also on the lake side you will find the Ski Bar serving food and drinks daily. Guests and owners can use the lake whether it be to hire the equipment available at the shop down on the lake side or you can bring your own paddle boards, kayaks, boats etc with the use of the boat jetty for access. On site you will also find the RSPB Hodbarrow Wildlife and nature reserve, making it a bird watching paradise with numerous locations around the site to see the variety of wild birds. If you leave the park by the Ski bar entrance, you will find in just a short 5 minute walk what the "The Mirror" rated as the UK's 3rd Best Hidden Beach with a gorgeous coastline, miles of sand, and dunes. Haverigg Beach. There's also a great park, ice cream, and beach cafe located in the village near the beach. Millom itself is a small town with a few shops, takeaways, petrol stations, etc. Food delivery is available fromTescos, Asda and Morrisons, but please only accept a time slot when you will be present at the lodge. We are a pet free lodge so ideal for those with allergies. The Space A brand new and very spacious lodge comes with a built in ceiling mounted Bluetooth system in the lounge and WiFi. The carpeted lounge area has a smart TV, sofas, electric log fire, and french doors which gives you direct access to the enclosed decking area with seating and a table that wraps round to the front entrance. Kitchen/dining area Fully equipped kitchen with built-in fridge freezer, microwave, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, ovens, oven top with 5 rings, and a free standing dining table and 4 chairs. Master Bedroom Features a super king size bed, large built-in wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors, window seat with cushions, pendant bedside lights, recessed dressing table, USB sockets, and its own private ensuite bathroom. A walk-in shower with glass sliding doors, sink, toilet, and plenty of storage. Twin Room Comes with 2 single beds, fitted wardrobe, shelves, cupboards and USB sockets. Family bathroom It is across the hall from the twin room with a walk-in shower with sliding glass doors, sink, toilet, and plenty of storage. Provided Linen Towels found on the beds are to be used inside the property Towels for use down by the lake will be provided Toilet paper and kitchen roll Hand soap Washing up liquid Cloths and t towels Dishwasher tablets Washing up sponges Cling film Tin foil Tea, coffee, sugar, and ground coffee Iron and board A high chair, travel cot and baby bath are available on request also, due to it not being stored on site.
