We've set our space up so you can do just that. In the yard, you'll find relaxing chairs surrounded by a beautifully constructed pergola with hanging hammock chairs. It's the perfect space to enjoy beautiful Jamaica nights. A chance to mix with the local community. ⚠️Cons⚠️ • Deep in the countryside •Potential for bugs and Mosquitoes 🦟 •Not walking distance from any beach or river. The closest beach or river is a 10-12 mins drive. • Not walking distance from the town center. Ocho Rios town center is a 10-12 mins drive. • Like many local roads - The roads to the property may be a little bumpy. Other things to note We want to provide a truly authentic Jamaican experience that encapsulates living like a local but also allows for comfort and reassured safety. Please review the following:  • Off the beaten path- If you have mobility concerns, this might not be the best fit.  • There will be bugs occasionally. There is mesh in the windows, but outside is beyond our control. A gentle bug repellant spray should do the trick.  • The road terrain to get to the property gets a little tricky at night. For this reason, we recommend that guests try to check in before nightfall. We especially recommend that single travelers and families with young kids check-in before nightfall. If this is not possible due to travel arrangements, please connect with us via phone call to let us know you are on your way.  • The running water comes from the tropical rainfall and is not treated. Therefore the water is not potable. We try to provide a few bottles of drinking water, but we recommend guests bring drinking water. This can be picked up in the town center on your way to the property.
