Laplandliv: private cabin at the lake with hottub

Welcome in our cosy Laplandliv cabin right at the lake! A simple, authentic place with a big warming woodstove where we hope you feel right at home. Experience slow wild living, nature, peace, silence & the beauty of Swedish Lapland. Enjoy sauna, fishing, making a fire and those fabulous lake views! There is NO running water during winter (from October - end of May) so no shower! we provide you with plenty of water in jerrycans. Hottub available from May till November, depending of cold/ ice. The space The cabin has one bedroom with two single beds. You will find the beds made up with fresh bedlinnen & towels included. In the livingroom is a sofa that can be turned into a a comfy bed (80cm wide) for an extra guest. A small but well equipped kitchen with the best views while doing the dishes. You will find a fridge, freezer, oven & electric cooking stove. The bathroom has a shower & combustion toilet. Simple upgrid living! Plenty of pillows and blankets to keep you warm & comfy inside and outside. Electric heating inside. You can rent kayaks with us for 375 SEK per day or a row boat for 375 SEK per day. (8/9 hours) We offer sauna too, 4 hours 350 SEK, wood inc. The cottage is situated on our own land behind our house but we will respect your privacy & you will have your own living space outside including outdoor furniture & easy acces to forest & lake. From end of May until half of October we have running water in the cabin inc heated shower. During this period is the use of hottub inc! When we don’t have running water we supply water in jerrycans. Nearest supermarket is 40km away. In Arjeplog there are 2 supermarkets. Coming from Norway/ route 95: shop in Jäckvik at the ICA supermarket. Coming from Sörsele/ Slagnäs: there are 2 supermarkets in Sorsele and a small shop in Slagnas. Guest access You will have the house all to yourself. Surrounding garden/ forest/ lake are also for you to use. Just keep in mind that the cottage is situated on our own plot behind our house so occasianly you will see us. Ofcourse we will respect your space and privacy, as we hope our guests will too ;-) We have two cats that like to wander around, they are very friendly. Just don’t let them inside the cabin 😊 Parking is right next to our house, 30 sec walk to the cottage Other things to note We are located in the wildernes of Swedish Lapland. Arjeplog is a 45 minute drive where you will find 2 supermarkets, gas station etc. Nearest supermarket is 40km away. Coming from Norway/ route 95: shop in Jäckvik at the ICA supermarket. Coming from Sörsele/ Slagnäs: there are 2 supermarkets in Sorsele and a small shop in Slagnas. The last 20 km is over an gravelroad but it’s well maintained and easy to drive, also in winter. Our location is not accesible by public transport. Arjeplog is a beautiful region with lots to explore, we love to help you out with travel advice & hand out local tips. We are located 25 km from the Silvervägen/ route 95. A visit to the polar circle and the Arjeplog fjälls are 1,5 hour drive away. The border with Norway takes 2 hours. The ferry to Lofoten from Bodo is a 3,5 hour drive.
