Welcome to our small newly-renovated "compact-living" house in Borensberg. From the pavilion, which is next to the house, you have a view of Göta hotel in the unique Göta canal environment. The house is best suited for 2 adults or a small family. Parking outside the house and access to garden. In the summer, the village comes alive as many tourists come to visit. Close to a large swimming area, restaurants, grocery stores, bicycle and kayak rentals. Nice walking and cycling paths are located along the canal and along Lake Boren. The space Bed linens and towels are included and are in the house upon arrival. The duvet cover is already made. In the loft there is a comfortable bed of 140 cm for 2 people and downstairs there is a sofa bed of 140 cm for 2 people. House is best suited for 2 persons who can sleep in the loft. When using the sofa bed, it takes up almost all the floor space when it is extended and you cannot use the tables indoors. However, there are three seating areas outside both with and without roof, as well as a garden for example for play and games. We have had several families with 2 children who have stayed with us and who have all been super happy despite the small space. Barbecues are available in the pavilion, but you must bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Toilet and shower in the bathroom. In the kitchen area, there is kitchen equipment, stove, microwave and a small fridge. Indoors, there is also a small wall-mounted dining table and two chairs as well as a smart TV with WiFi, CI+ card slot and built-in casting. Heating or air conditioning via an air heat pump. Wi-Fi is included. Parking outside is of course free. Final cleaning is included. Guest access In addition to the guest house, you have access to a large pavilion located right next to the cottage, outdoor furniture and garden. Clothes drying rack is available for use in the garden. Other things to note The house is very small but charming and all amenities are available. On summer evenings, you can enjoy the views of Göta Kanal and Göta Hotel from the pavilion. Through the village flows the Göta Canal and Motala stream. Only a 10-minute walk from the cottage is Strandbadet's swimming area with barbecue facilities, beach volleyball and playground for the younger children. In the harbor, you can rent bicycles at the cafeteria, play miniature golf, eat an ice cream and have a coffee. Also within walking distance in the village center is Borensberg's inn, pizzerias, cafés, two grocery stores, interior design shops and an Italian delicatessen with good cheeses. Between Göta Kanal and Motala Ström, there is a garden café at Glasbrukets vandrarhem. You can walk or bike 2 km along the canal. Kayaks can be rented at Brunneby Musteri to paddle in the canal and booked via outdoortime rental kayak. Here you will also find a well-stocked farm shop, restaurant and café. The kayaks are picked up via a kayak machine at the canal below Brunneby Musteri. If you want to take a boat trip on the canal, MS Wasa Lejon goes from Borensberg to Berg and you can bring a bike for an additional fee. If you need to charge an electric car, there is a charging station behind the church in Borensberg that is paid via the EasyPark app. When the tourist season is over, the village becomes quiet and the range of cafés and restaurants is limited. However, the grocery stores and pizzerias are open all year round. Tommy is the one who receives you on arrival and who takes care of renting and cleaning. If he is not at home, you can check in yourself via a key box for which you will receive the code before your arrival.
