Welcome to our small newly renovated "compact-living" house in Borensberg. The house is very small but extremely charming, and it has all the amenities you need. From the pavilion located next to the house, you have a view over Göta hotel by the unique Göta canal environment. The house is best suited for 2 adults or a small family. Parking outside the house and access to garden. Close to large swimming area, restaurants, grocery stores, bike and kayak rentals. There are lovely walking and cycling paths along the canal and the lake. The space Bedlinen and towels are included and available in the house upon arrival. The duvet cover is already made. In the sleeping loft, which you reach by a ladder, there is a comfortable 160 cm bed for 2 people, and downstairs there is a 140 cm sofa bed for 2 people. House is best suited for 2 people who can sleep in the loft. When you use the sofa bed, it pretty much takes up all the floor space when it is folded out and you can not use the tables indoors. However, there are three seating areas outside both with and without roof, as well as a garden for games and games. We have had several families with 2 children who stayed with us and who were all super happy despite the small space. Grills are in the pavilion, but you have to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Toilet, shower and heated towel rail in the bathroom. In the kitchen area there is kitchen equipment, stovetop, microwave and a small fridge. Indoors, there is also a small wall-mounted dining table and two chairs as well as a smart TV with WiFi, CI+ slot and built-in casting. Heat or air conditioning via an air heat pump. WiFi included. The parking outside, of course, is free. Final cleaning is included. Guest access In addition to the guest house, you have access to a large pavilion located right next to the cottage, outdoor furniture and garden. Clothes drying rack is available for use in the garden. Other things to note On summer evenings you can enjoy the view of the Göta Canal and Göta hotel from the pavilion. Through the village, the Göta Canal flows as well as Motala stream. Just a 10-minute walk from the cottage is the Strandbadet bathing area, which offers barbecue facilities, beach volleyball and a playground for younger children. In the harbor is possible to rent bikes at Kaffeterian, play miniature golf, eat an ice cream and have a coffee. Also within walking distance in the village centre are the Borensberg guest house, pizzerias, cafés, two grocery shops, interior design shops and an Italian delicatessen selling excellent cheeses. Between Göta Canal and Motala stream there is a garden cafe at Glasbrukets hostel. There you walk or bike 2 km along the canal. Kayaks can be rented at Brunneby Musteri to paddle in the canal and booked via outdoortime rental kayak. Here you will also find a well-stocked farm shop, restaurant and café. The kayaks are picked up via a kayaking machine by the canal below Brunneby musteri. If you want to go for a boat trip on the canal, MS Wasa Lejon goes from Borensberg to Berg and you can bring a bike for an additional fee. If you need to charge an electric car, the nearest charging station is RE&GO at Torggatan 4 (Swish or bank card) and at Husbyvägen 27 behind the church in Borensberg, which is paid for via the EasyPark app. When the tourist season is over, the tranquility settles over the village and the variety of cafés and restaurants are limited. However, the grocery stores and pizzerias are open all year round.
