Izu Oshima, a remote island of less than 2 hours by jet boat from Tokyo.You can enjoy dynamic active volcanoes, Japan's only desert, the sea where you can see a lot of fish just by the face, the nostalgic cityscape, delicious meals, etc. Our inn is located a 15-minute walk from Motomachi, the center of Izu Oshima.One of the attractions is that you can go shopping, dining, and hot springs on foot. My husband and I got to know each other while living at home (address hopping) and got married.I moved to Izu Oshima, where I have been visiting other bases several times since January 2024, and I am currently renovating an old private house in Wavefu (southern Oshima) to a single house for rent.(Opened in May 2025!) I work remotely during the weekdays and it's hard to accommodate frequent turnovers, so I keep it at a good price for those who stay longer. One of the troubles of relocating to Oshima is the search for a house.It also took us almost half a year to find the house we are now.If you are considering relocating to Oshima, please use it as a try to relocate.I am a new immigrant, so there is limited what I can do, but I will also take a consultation on relocation, so please consult me. The space This is a 47-year-old single-story house with a garden. There are 3 private rooms (1 room is our room, 2 rooms are guest rooms), and there is 1 shared space each for the living room, kitchen, bath, washroom, and toilet. Feel free to use the fire pit, firewood, and camping chairs. Feel free to use the island peppers and herbs grown in the home garden. Guest access Feel free to use anything on the premises, except for other people's private rooms. Other things to note Sometimes you can hear loud noises from the neighborhood during the day.
