Top floor of an historic building in quaint Mount Vernon. Main living area is a former gallery of the resident artist and furniture maker Erik Groenhout who lives & creates in the first floor studio. Tall ceilings and large windows with views on Lake Minnehonk create a feeling of grandeur while the unique furnishings mixed with antiques make the space cozy. Kitchenette and private bathroom. Access to the whimsical side garden, fire pit, and dock. Canoe available. Walkable to Scapes local cafe. The space One main apartment with king sized bed, and queen sized pull out couch. One separate private bedroom on the same floor with two single beds upon request. Guest access We encourage use of the garden to the right of the building as well as the pergola seating and dock. Other things to note Be prepared for stairs. Not suitable for cooking full meals.
