Honeysuckle Barn is located on the outskirts of the village of Bridgerule, nestling on the Cornwall/ Devon border, 5 miles from Widemouth Beach and 6 miles from Bude it is the perfect Holiday destination. It has a beautiful open plan living area with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite). The spacious and versatile accommodation is of a high quality with superb character features throughout. There is private landscaped gardens with patio area and off-road parking for 2-3 cars. The space Honeysuckle Barn is a beautiful newly completed (2024) barn conversion. Set in the countryside on the Devon/Cornwall boarder it is the perfect destination for a well deserved break. The barn itself offers a homely retreat to escape to with relaxed, comfy interiors with great amenities. The spacious and versatile accommodation on offer is of a high quality with superb character features throughout. Landscaped gardens and off-road parking. The residence benefits from brilliant elevated views over the Tamar valley and the village of Bridgerule. The barn was once dilapidated and used to house cows on a working farm. It has been a huge labour of love to get it up to a useable and homely space and it has come along way since those days. The before and after photos are really something. We have included a couple of photos in your pack for you to browse through if you are interested. Location: Honeysuckle Barn is situated in a beautiful Devon village called Bridgerule. It offers traditional amenities including, popular local pub called The Bridge Inn, Church, Chapel, newly opened village shop (although I haven’t been there myself so not sure how good it is) and a children’s play area approx 5/10 minute walk into the village. It is a mile from the Cornish boarder, 5 miles to Widemouth Bay Beach, 6 miles from the costal resort of Bude and 5.5 miles from the market town of Holsworthy. It is a rural location so I strongly advise you have a car and do not rely on public transport. Living, Dining & Kitchen Area: Step through the front door and you will be greeted with a large open plan living area. There is a show cabinet directly to the left of the door for you to leave your shoes. To your right the beautiful newly constructed kitchen is a large area equipped with everything you should need during your stay. There is a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, integrated microwave and hob with extractor hood, toaster and kettle. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags and cleaning products will be provided for the duration of your stay. To the left of the kitchen area is a large dining area with Oak table, Oak bench and x4 comfortable dining chairs. Over in the corner of the properly there is an incredible original stone feature back wall which is the heart of the lounge. There are 2 natural sofas centred round a smart TV. Netflix will be provided for the duration of your stay. Please note that the TV is not connected to main channels currently. There is warm & cosy underfloor heating throughout this area. WiFi is provided. There are a selection of board and card games located on the other side of the lounge in the large grey dresser unit for your entertainment. Please ensure these are left behind at the end of your stay for our future guests to enjoy. Next to the shoe cabinet by the front door is also a small selection of toys, books and games for little humans (or big humans!) to enjoy. Please leave these in the condition that you found them and do not take them home with you. Sleeping: Bedroom 1- features a double bed with linen provided, wardrobe, mirror and bedside tables. There is an en-suite in this room. Bedroom 2- there is zip link beds in this room so can be configured as a twin room or king size bed, linen provided, wardrobe, dressing table & bedside tables. Please let us know before your stay how you prefer this bedroom to be made up. There is x1 travel cot available at the property. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you wish to use this. Bathrooms: En-suite in bedroom 1- there is a beautiful enclosed walk in shower with double shower head, WC & basin. There is also a heated towel rail- please be aware towel rails can get hot and children should be supervised at all times near them. Bathroom 2- this is next to bedroom 2 (please note it is not en suite). There is a bath and shower over the bath, WC & basin with a heated towel rail- please be aware towel rails can get hot and children should be supervised at all times near them. Outside: Parking for 2 cars directly outside the house and parking for one further car opposite. Please do not park in the neighbours spaces. They are in use at all times. Once parked you make your way through an enclosed/gated garden along a path. There is a patio area which has 2 small steps leading up to it (but can also be accessed via the grass). Please supervise children at all times on this area as it is not fenced off. There is patio furniture for you to enjoy along with a BBQ. Please note I do not live on site but can be contacted very easily through Airbnb throughout the duration of your stay. Guest access You will have full access to Honeysuckle Barn and the enclosed garden area for the duration of your stay. Other things to note -There is a travel cot available at request. Please let me know if you would like this and we will ensure it is set up ready for your arrival. -The keys to the property will be in a key safe. You will be given the code on the day of your arrival. -If you would like early check in or late departure please send me a message. I will do my best to accommodate this but if there are other guests checking in/out this will not be possible. -Mobile phone reception in the area is poor (unless you’re with EE) so WiFi calling is recommended for making calls. -Due to its rural location and lack of public transport, a car is recommended to maximise your stay here with us. -Please note- there are surrounding properties under construction currently. Noise will be kept to an absolute minimum and there should be minimum disruption during your stay. There are also other residents who live in the other surrounding properties full time.
