Arrive and unwind! In the former servants' timber-framed house of Hof Grindau (110m2), bricks, clay and wood are combined with modern furniture to create a quiet, stylish atmosphere close to nature. While our horses strode freely around their paddock trail and our vegetables grow in the greenhouse, children's dreams come true in Lukas' tree house. Everything here invites you enjoy some free time - doing nothing. Centrally located from Hanover City, the Hanover Exhibition Center or Heidepark. The space The old servants' house of Hof Grindau offers on 110 m2 on 2 floors a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, a cozy living room with two sofa beds and one bed box. A desk with a 27 flat-screen and glass-fibre WLAN allows you to work. The modern bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. The living room leads to the terrace, which is equipped with a permanent lounger, a dining table and chairs. From spring to autumn, a hanging towel hangs in the fruit trees for relaxing, and the covered barbecue area, which can be used all year round, invites you to spend sociable evenings. On the upper floor, a spacious living and sleeping area awaits you with a king-size bed that offers two pull-out bed boxes. Here you will also find a free-standing bathtub, a sofa bed with a bed box, a hanging chair and two lounge chairs, which invite you to relax. Guest access The guest house is located on the property of Hof Grindau and can be reached via a shared driveway and its courtyard. You can park your car in the courtyard, then simply follow the old stone path past the old farm building and the main house to reach our guest house. When you check in, the door is open and the key is on the inside. When you check out, please put the key back in the door from the inside. We generally allow our guests to use the left-hand area of ​​the garden from the guest house onwards. Other things to note Our guest house is ideally available for two adults and one child. If there are three children, two kids can use the sofa beds in the living room. In front of the house is a sand box and plenty of toys along with a small kids tractor to play around with. The ground floor is generally accessible at ground level. However, as we are under monument protection, no door is wider than 70 cm. As we have horses and cats ourselves, dogs must always be leashed when leaving the guest house and their droppings must be disposed of. Conveniently, the dog route starts on the other side of the road. We offer horse owners the opportunity to use our riding arena and the surrounding pasture. Your horse(s) and ours are separated by a Patura electric fence system with 6000V.
