Relax at this beautiful hills getaway just minutes from the city. Surrounded by wonderful Adelaide Hills wineries and restaurants enjoy this tranquil cottage nestled in the hills. The space Wattle Tree Cottage stands on a peaceful quarter acre gardened block, with tall trees, gated gardens and wildlife. Picturesque in the warmer months, cosy, warm and quiet in the cooler months it is far enough from Adelaide to call a country retreat, close enough to get there in 20 minutes. There are countless options for a great pub lunch just down the road at The Bridgewater Hotel or within a few kms try the Stirling, Crafers, Uraidla or Stanley Bridge pubs for a great meal. Take a left hand turn at Mount Barker Road and you will be in Harndorf in a few short minutes. Visit the Harndorf Fruit & Vegetable Market to purchase a wide range of wonderful produce along with meat and bakery goods. Guest access Guests have access to this hillside property, the only exclusions are the loft and outdoor shed. Please note, as this is a hills property, there is a somewhat steep driveway, however, ample space for parking at the top for both both small and large cars. There are a few steps to enter the property through the front door, however you can access via the rear door with two small steps up. Other things to note There are Koalas and Possums that visit the property from time to time. It's best to leave them alone. They are cute and cuddly and have no sense of humour when it comes to people. You might here the possums at night when they use the roof as a passage from one tree to another.
