South Wales Luxury Getaway with hot tub

A superb luxury property - perfect for larger families or friends to explore this great area, with a private hot tub and games room with pool table. For up to 14 guests it consists of a 5 bedroom luxury house with 4 en-suite bathrooms and guest toilet. All bedrooms are very spacious and have smart TV's. A perfect venue for family birthday celebrations, corporate retreats or an amazing civil wedding venue for up to 50 guests. Beaches, leisure activities, supermarkets, local pub nearby. The space This property can also be booked with our 'Modern bungalow with wood burner/jacuzzi' which has full disabled access right next door to accommodate up to 20 guests. Ideal for large multi generational family groups. Located in a rural setting in 10 acres of land. Local shops are 5 minutes drive away. Supermarkets 15 minutes away, but home deliveries from all the major chains are easily arranged. Local country pub within walking distance. Local activities such as horseriding, golfing, fishing are all available. Guest access All the enclosed patios and gardens directly around the house are for your use. Great for children and pets to run around freely. If you want to venture into the fields surrounding the house, please note that they are not maintained to the same level as the surrounding gardens. You will need to bring your wellies and use of the surrounding fields is at your own risk. The tree house in the garden is out of bounds at all times and is not included in the rental. We have a huge parking area that can easily accommodate at least 6 vehicles. Other things to note Bryncoch Situated in the Neath (Castell Nedd) Valley, we are very centrally located in South Wales with endless things to do and places to see in the local area. Places to Eat and Drink: ● There are two pub restaurants in the village. The Loft, is the nicer of the two and has recently been refurbished with a beautiful outdoor patio and lovely sunset views. The Duffryn Arms is a gastro-pub and has a range of food choices to offer and is in walking distance. ● For an exceptional fine dining menu with a Savoy Hotel trained chef, at very reasonable prices, try the Hanson at the Chelsea in Wind Street, Swansea city centre. ● For an fantastic dine-in Indian restaurant which only uses fresh ingredients we highly recommend the Razoi which is in Pontlliw and Swansea Waterfront. ● The Bryncoch Inn, is part of the Zizzy’s chain just down the road and has great choices and atmosphere for families. ● The village also has a fish and chip shop called Abbey fish bar, handy for a quick and easy tea. ● There are a selection of Chinese and Indian, Kebab, pizza takeaways some of whom deliver. See a selection of leaflets in the kitchen. ● Local shop- If you turn right outside the house and go all the way along Tyllywd road right to the very end, turn right and 100 yards away on the left hand side you will see a Co-Op for all your last minute needs. They usually close at 10pm. It is about 5-7 minutes by car. ● Tesco at Neath Abbey, Morristons, Aldi, Lidl are all within a 10-15 minute drive away. All the major supermarkets including Waitrose deliver to our address. Things to Do / Places to Visit ● The renowned Gower peninsula and the Mumbles with beaches, restaurants and attractions are all within 30-60 minutes from your doorstep. The Langland Brasserie is our recommendation for lunch or dinner, although you'll need to book in advance as it is very popular. ● The award-winning Welsh ‘Penderyn’ whisky distillery is about 20 minutes away. Tours are available. ● If you fancy a pamper during your stay, there is a hairdresser called Rokoko Hair and Beauty in nearby Skewen which also offers some beauty treatments. ● The Neath Valley in South Wales is an increasingly popular area for UK holidays. The location lends itself well to those looking to explore the diverse countryside of the area. With cycle paths and walking trails on your doorstep, there is plenty to explore. The valley is home to some of Wales’s most amazing waterfalls, including Aberdulais, Melincourt, Pontneddfechan and Sgwd yr Eira. ● Impressive hills will keep you busy - just head to Afan Forest Park, 20 minutes away, for hilly bike trails or Penyfan in the Brecon Beacons, which is the tallest peak in South Wales and just a 30-minute drive away. ● For family fun days out, the National Showcaves Centre for Wales at Dan yr Ogof and Zip World Tower near Aberdare are firm favourites in the area. ● A day at the seaside is just 8½ miles away with the nearest beach and surf school at Aberavon – or visit the famous beaches of the Gower Peninsula, under an hour away. ● For a more chilled day out, there is also ‘Go Ape’ located within the Margam Country Park near Port Talbot for forest for tree climbing, segway’s, paintballing, archery and so much more. ● The best local cinema with more than three screens, we recommend heading to Swansea Vue or Odeon Cinemas which is a twenty-five minute drive. ● Cardiff City centre and the Millennium Stadium is a one hour drive away. ● Cardiff Wales Airport (CWL) is also just over an hours drive away. ● MC Arthur Glen designer outlet village for all your retail needs is 25 minutes away off the M4 junction 36 Buses and Trains The house is located in a rural area and there is no direct bus route. Neath Taxis are available by prior booking. Neath train station is located in the high street approximately 15 minutes away by car. Therefore, a car is highly recommended for staying at our property.
