Stunning modern double bedroom in the quiet Craigmillar Castle residential area, a perfect fit for a couple or a solo traveller exploring the capital of Scotland. The space The double bedroom faces onto southeast with the main entrance to the private garden exclusively accessible by the guests. It has been recently refurbished with new bedframe, mattress, beddings, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk. The windowed door giving onto the garden is equipped with a flynet and has been secured with a lockable shutter; on the inside it is decorated with an Italian triple curtain ensuring full darkness at night. The flat is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the local retail park with Lidl, Home Bargains, Gregs and with nearby Tesco and local amenities. Only 20 minutes walk from the property the Fort Kinnaird shopping centre with restaurants, fast-food chains, malls and gyms. The buses 21 and 39 will take you in 14 minutes to Portobello, and from Fort Kinnaird the 108 or 111 will take you to Musselburgh in 15 minutes. Craigmillar Castle is less than 20 minutes walk away and with the buses 2, 14 and 30 it is possible to reach South Bridge and the Royal Mile within 20 minutes. Guest access The shared bathroom, also facing southeast, can be accessed from the first door on the left to the guest’s bedroom. It is a bright bathroom with a wide window equipped with a privacy screen. It comprises a toilet, washbasin, electric shower, modern bathtub and all the toiletries required for their stay. Guests are welcomed to request restocking of detergents, soaps and wipes if ever in need. The guest will have access to the shared fully equipped kitchen and dining area comprising oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, oven, hobs, toaster, kettle, espresso machine, storage cupboards and all the essential items for a self-catering holiday (e.g. glasses, plates, pots etc). We comply fully with GDPR and store guests' data securely. The apartment is on the ground floor in a quiet residential area and parties or loud music in the apartment are prohibited. Please respect the other residents. Arrivals are from 5:15 p.m. and departures are up to 10 a.m. We will try to be flexible on these times and all requests will be considered although no guarantees can be given, especially if other guests are arriving/leaving the same day.
