Check us out on Insta @goldminechalet The space THE SPACE: Goldmine Chalet is the perfectly located vacation cabin for you to enjoy all that Big Bear Lake has to offer. If you'd like to take a little stroll to The Village, piece of cake. It's about 15 min. Dying to make some turns on our local ski mountain? Snow Summit is less than 1 mile from the cabin. Do you prefer lake life? Pine Knot Marina where you can rent a boat or fishing gear, that's also just a 20 min walk or a 3 min drive. What about hiking? Well you can just head up Jeffries Rd. and you'll run right into the National Forest and it's myriad of hiking and biking trails. Everything is literally at your fingertips. Mountain life is calling, and you can call Goldmine Chalet home for as long as you like! Friendly reminder this is a smoke free property. Here is a detailed breakdown of what you can expect! 3 BEDROOMS - Primary bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet, office desk, and flat screen smart TV. Netflix provided by Goldmine. Bedroom is located upstairs. (Labeled "bedroom 3") - Upstairs guest bedroom has a queen size bed and closet. This room is connected to the kids playroom -coming soon..see below (Labeled "bedroom 2"). Note this connects to the kids bonus space. - Downstairs guest bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, extra seating, and a flat screen smart TV. Netflix provided by Goldmine. (Labeled "bedroom 1") ** Extra sleeping space can be found in: -The Family Room ("Living Room 2") by way of a full size futon sleeper -Kids bonus space: Loft style room connected to the upstairs guest bedroom. There are 4 twin beds. Note beams are low and this space is meant for young kids due to the beams. Light switch is right in the entrance on upper left wall. Note the rest of the space has several battery operated lights and charging lamp night stands. Please alert us if the batteries or charing lamps run out of power. 2 FULL BATHROOMS - The downstairs bathroom has a shower and tub, single sink vanity, and commode - The upstairs bathroom has a shower, single sink vanity, and commode. Central Heating ( Nest Thermostat) We have also added central A/C for those hot summers days & nights. KITCHEN Full galley style kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker and juicer. The kitchen also includes all necessary dishes, cups, silverware, and meal preparation items, including kids dinnerware and a booster seat! There is a dining room table with room for 6 people plus a separate 'kids table' with room for 4 children. LIVING ROOM 1 (Fire place seating area) // (labeled "living room 1") Seating for 2 in luxury leather lounge chairs directly in front of the wood burning fireplace and stone hearth LIVING ROOM 2 (large family room) // (labeled "living room 2") Large u-shaped couch with two chaise style seating areas. Additional seating is in a futon which converts to a full size bed. This room includes a credenza, closet with board games, and a 55" flat screen smart TV. Netflix provided by Goldmine Chalet. DECK The deck includes two grills, one fueled by propane and one charcoal grill. There is a large lounge area with seating and a coffee table in the back to enjoy the mountain scenery. Brand new HOT TUB just steps away from the back deck. We have recently added gates to both entry points of the deck area which adds security for little ones and pets. E-bikes / Paddle Boards / Kayak Guests are welcome to use all these amenities. We just require a signed wavier. Please provide us your email address. WASHER / DRYER Through the downstairs bathroom is our washing machine and dryer. Some soap and dryer sheets are found on top of the washing machine. *Note property has smart TVs with complimentary Netflix login and wifi. This property does not have cable. Other things to note Please remember, Big Bear Lake will have snowy and icy road conditions in the winter season. Take precaution when driving up the mountain and up our hill by the cabin. All wheel drive, 4x4, and / or snow chains may be required to reach your destination safely. Drive slowly and cautiously. Safety first....mountain vibes at the cabin second!
