Welcome to San Pedro’s, a marvellously unique & private getaway for two, where a Mexican casita meets a Balinese haven. Nestled near the serene surroundings of Wollumbin National Park Northern NSW, this enchanting escape offers an unparalleled experience to retreat and switch off from the world. Formerly an artists refuge & sound studio, this is very first time San Pedro’s is open for guests to stay. The space Step into a world of tranquility and quirky charm. San Pedro’s is designed to provide the utmost comfort while fully immersing you in nature's beauty. The cozy interior features a delightful mix of rustic and exotic decor, with comfortable seating areas adorned with plush cushions and unique wooden furniture. The sleeping area invites you to unwind with its luxurious bedding and peaceful views of the surrounding forest with magical firefly’s aplenty during August and September. The bathroom is a sanctuary in itself, with a stunning petrified log basin, pebble flooring, and lush plants that enhance the natural ambiance. The outdoor space is just as captivating, with a picturesque garden filled with rare cacti collected from around the world blended with an array of exotic tropical plants & Australian natives, a charming seating area, and a fire pit perfect for true chilling whilst listening to the twilight symphony from over 150 species of bird located in this special area. Guest access You will have access to the entire space, ensuring complete privacy. Enjoy the peaceful garden, relax by the fire pit, bring your journal or yoga mat & picnic blanket. The simple but fully equipped kitchenette and inviting dining area make it easy to prepare easy meals to enjoy at your leisure. Other things to note -Wi-Fi: We do not have any, most services however have adequate reception, we do recommend switching off for the full experience. -Nature: Be prepared for close encounters with the local wildlife, including an array of birds, wallabies, bandicoots, possums and much more. -Parking: Ample parking space available on the property. You will be staying on 5 lush acres with the main house situated out of sight a few hundred metres up the driveway. -Unfortunately due to the nature of San Pedro’s space, it is not suitable for pets or children. Nearby Attractions -Wollumbin National Park: A haven for hiking and nature lovers (5kms away) (Note: Day park is open however Summit Track is currently closed) -Nightcap National Park, Border Ranges National Park, Springbrook National Park, Lamington National Park, (All under an hour away) is where you can explore lush rainforests and stunning waterfalls, discover breathtaking views, ancient rainforests and enjoy an abundance of scenic walking trails & don’t forget to see the glowworms at Natural arch caves. -Byron Bay: Just under an hour away, enjoy the vibrant beach town and its famous beaches. -Nimbin: Discover the eclectic and artistic community within an hour’s drive. -Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre: A cultural gem nearby. -Uki quirky township & Bastion Lane Heritage Cafe: Indulge in arguably one of the worlds best coffee’s & here you can grab any supplies. 5min Drive. -New Rail Trail: Perfect for a scenic walk or bike ride, Stokers Siding entry 10 minutes drive.
