Sea View Cottage, Middleton, Rhossili, Gower

Leave the car parked outside, and set off for a short walk to the beautiful beaches at Rhossili, Mewslade and Fall Bay, all accessible along the Gower Coastal Path. Good for couples or families, our lovely cottage provides a peaceful haven to relax after a day exploring, or surfing the waves at some of the best surf locations in the country. There are uninterrupted sea views towards North Devon. In our beautiful garden enjoy a BBQ in the sunshine, or get cosy by the log burner on cooler days. The space The house is light and airy. All interior doors have been glazed with toughened clear safety glass so that views of the sea can be enjoyed as you move around inside. There is an entrance porch with coat hooks and a shoe rack, which leads into the cosy living room. Here there is a three seater sofa and two chairs, wood burning stove (basket of logs and kindling suppled to get you started), and a TV with Freesat, and a DVD player. There are stunning views of the coast from here, but also lovely heavy curtains for Winter evenings when the Southerly winds are howling! Through to the ample dining room which has an extendable table to seat 6 or 8. A small selection of local maps and books is kept here, along with some games and DVDs. The under stairs cupboard has a vacuum cleaner, steam iron and ironing board, mop and bucket, clothes pegs and portable drying rack. There is also a cool box, and a travel cot and folding highchair stored in here. The kitchen is very well equipped for family catering, There is a good array of pots and pans, a gas hob and electric oven, microwave and toaster. We have a Welsh dresser with all kinds of glasses and cups and saucers. The bathroom is downstairs behind the kitchen and has an electric shower. It also has the washing machine and dryer stored here. The back door leads out into the garden, and the outdoor dining area and BBQ. There is also an outside tap with hose attached for washing off sand after a day at the beach. There is plenty of space to relax in the beautiful garden. The garden shed is available for storage of bikes or surfboards if required, and there are a few buckets and spades there which you are welcome to use. Upstairs are three bedrooms. A large twin room with wardrobe and chest of drawers, which has views across the sea. A double bedroom with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. This has countryside views across fields to the back of Rhossili Down. The third is a single bedroom with chest of drawers and clothes rack. This too has views across fields to the back of Rhossili Down. Other things to note All towels and tea towels provided, EXCEPT beach towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
