The space Dogwood Sunset is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin perched on a hillside with a view of the Smokies and the neighborhood Mint Lake. The house is located in Mill Creek Community where you have gated access in a private setting. One bedroom is located upstairs with a separate bath and 2 oversized bedrooms share a bath with a whirlpool tub on the terrace level. You will also find a full-sized washer and dryer on this level. All bedrooms have their own 55 inch TV's with YouTube TV! This beautiful home is the perfect place for couples or large families to escape and relax. After returning home from a long day of adventuring, enjoy a soak in the 6-person hot tub, relax on the porch swing or sit beside the gas fireplace in the living room. The hot tub is on the lowest of 3 covered decks which contain tables and furniture to accommodate your whole group. Watching the spectacular sunset or viewing wildlife in the morning while sipping coffee are two activities guests comment about the most! Dogwood Sunset is only 5.9 miles to the center of Franklin where you will find Ingles grocery store, a variety of fast food restaurants, and a Tesla charging station. Drive a half mile further to find Aldi and a super Walmart. The house is 25 miles to Highlands, 28 miles to Sylva, and 42 miles to Bryson City, a good place for a rafting adventure. If you are not enjoying the excellent restaurants around Main Street in Franklin, you can utilize multiple options for cooking including various sizes of pots and pans, the Weber grill (propane included) or the firepit with adirondack chairs for making smores. Please extinguish all fires by 11 p.m. The kitchen is also well equipped with 3 types of coffee makers (Keurig, drip and French press), baking dishes, spices, a toaster, a blender, as well as a crockpot. If you need to catch up on your workload, the house is equipped with speedy, reliable internet at 300 mbps and a dedicated workspace in the terrace level bedroom. If you need to stay indoors, play the arcade games on the terrace level or enjoy the foosball and ping pong tables in the garage. For the easiest way to exit the driveway, pull your vehicle into the garage and turn around to avoid having to back up the driveway.
