Surrounded by totally translucent waters, within a protected marine reserve, it’s a wonderful spot for water lovers. The space The motu (islet) on which Villa Corallina is located, is a stunning coral island measuring just 0.75 km in length and 0.55 km in width and 1.9 km in circumference. Filled with lush forest and framed by bright white beaches, it’s situated just 1.0 km away from Moorea mainland. The beautiful lagoon surrounding the Villa Corallina’s motu is a true tropical aquarium with all kind of colorful corals, fish and sea life perfect for snorkeling or taking the 2 Kayaks or the 3 person Tahitian outrigger ready for you. Right in front of the house a breathtaking coral reef, just a few steps into the water. A magical underwater world waiting to be discovered by you. This special place is for those who want to get away from it all: a perfect place for honeymoon or for a peaceful vacation with your family. Villa Corallina is a modern 2 Bedrooms/1 Bath lagoon front villa offering 1,290 sq. ft. of luxurious Tahitian-style ambience. You'll experience the true essence of indoor/outdoor living in this elegant and fully furnished villa that sits less than 20 yards from the sandy beach and the lagoon. A large open plan without doors, kitchen dining and living area, opens directly onto the garden, the beach and the lagoon giving the sensation to live into the nature, making the outdoor and indoor feel as one. Large roll-up awning all around protect against strong winds or rain. The mahogany kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender and stocked with all dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and flatware. Catering can be also arranged by Sunset Restaurant on the main island facing our motu. The dining area has a beautiful handcrafted teak dining table with its 4 large teak armchairs and a 32’ flat screen led TV. The living area has a comfortable 3 seater bamboo couch with 2 large bamboo armchairs and a bamboo table. The master bedroom 1 has an amazing king size four-poster bed with mosquito net. Wake up and sleep to the sound of the ocean from your comfortable bed! The bedroom 2 has two twins beds that can be reconfigured into a king bed and an office area. Each bedroom has its own private entrance from the garden and from the front veranda with doors and windows equipped with mosquito screen as well. The high ceilings are covered in eye soothing rattan and the bamboo floors are beautiful and soft on your feet. 100% pure cotton bed linens, towels and beach towels are provided for your convenience. A third room accessible from each bedroom separately has been converted into a large dressing room with ample storage space for luggage; clothing etc... From the dressing room you get to the bathroom. The spacious unusual bathroom takes up the entire back of the house; it can be open air overlooking the back yard garden or closed as you like, features a walk-in shower, double sinks with large panoramic mirror and separate toilet. Ceiling fan and standing fan in every room. Wi-fi Internet access is available on request at your expense by mobile router 4G speed for up to 10 wireless devices. Outside, in front of the house, you will find another living space, a roof covered veranda that offers a paved BBQ area, as well as a dining table, seats, hammock and direct access to the beach. The villa also features a private outdoor shower near the beachfront. Enjoy some local seafood and fish grilling by the beach or simply relax napping in the hammock and admire the breathtaking sunset right in front of you. Guest access Guests have free access to the whole house and property. Beach chairs, hammock, kayaks, Tahitian outrigger are also at your disposal. Don´t worry how to get to the island and back, we have 2 boats and your booking includes the daily transfer from the mainland (Moorea) and back from 7:30am to 5:30pm. The shuttles are suspended between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. the next day. Please note that we do not provide snorkeling equipment, we recommend bringing your own snorkel gear if you want to snorkel in the lagoon. Other things to note Smoking is NOT allowed in the house. There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Bath towels should remain in the house. Beach towels are provided for the beach. Water and Septic: The house has a septic system; there is not a public sewer on the motu. The system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER. No feminine products, tissues, or wipes of any kind should be flushed at any time. Electricity. The voltage is 220V. The house is battery operated 24 hours a day. The energy stored in the batteries being limited it is essential to limit the consumption of electricity, turn off the lights and the fans when you do not need it. Water. Our own unit of water maker (reverse osmosis system) provides the water supply; please don’t waste the water which is precious on the island. Registration Details 1653DTO-MT
