We welcome you to our family home. A bright, uplifting and calming house with sea and sunset views from the back and countryside views from the front. Relax with the whole family in this peacefully location in Gurnard village. The space We welcome you to our loved family home and hope you will love it as much as we do. Our house is on a very quiet residential street which isn't a through road for traffic so very peaceful. You can park your car on our double driveway so there is no need to park on the street. Downstairs we have a fully equipped open plan kitchen diner which opens out onto our sunny back garden. The lounge is cosy for evenings and also has a space for children to play. The kitchen leads to large utility/porch area for you to leave sandy shoes and also access the garden. We also have a bright and spacious downstairs shower room and toilet. Upstairs we have a large king-size double bedroom with views over the fields looking across to the downs and forest. The two back bedrooms have beautiful sea and sunset views - one with a king size double and the other a children's bedroom with single bed. We also have an upstairs bathroom with bath. The garden is filled with sunshine and has views across the solent. We have a large patio with furniture for relaxing. Our greenhouse is filled with veg and if anything looks ripe and ready to pick then please help yourself. There is also a bench for dining in the perfect evening sun spot! We have a village shop at the top of the road (1 minute walk!) and two brilliant pubs very close by. One within a 3 minute walk and the other on the beach (with sunset views) within a 5 minute walk. We are a 5 - 8 min walk to Gurnard beach which is a lovely sheltered spot to swim/paddle board etc. We are a 25 min walk into Cowes town along the promenade - where there are restaurants, coffee shops, lots of independent gift and food shops. (5 minute drive). There is a forest close by - 8 min drive with beautiful pass for walking. We are a 15 minute walk from the Cowes recreation ground - where there is a skatepark, large grassy common and children’s park. We are a 30 min drive to south/west coast beaches where you can try surfing or explore the islands more remote coastline.
