Yurt with private garden next to farm

It is our passion to share Mongolian culture. Saran, the host, was born and raised in a yurt in Mongolia. Rowan is married to Saran and has been making music from Mongolia for 15+ years. We would like to welcome you to our place. We also organize workshops, such as a cooking workshop (learn to make traditional Mongolian dishes). The space Behind our farm, we have arranged a nice 350 m² corner for our yurt accommodation, with plenty of space to enjoy. Located in beautiful Wedde, Westerwolde, ideal for cycling and hiking trips. There is no sewage system at the yurt, but there is a clean compost toilet and an outdoor shower (cold water). This way, you really experience the back-to-basics life as we know it in Mongolia. Do you still want access to real sanitary facilities? The yurt offers everything for a comfortable stay: a real Mongolian breakfast (optional), a private garden with a covered terrace and fireplace, comfortable beds, a kitchen with kitchenware, coffee and tea. Optionally bookable: Mongolian dinner and cooking workshops. The yurt is a cozy, traditional, one-room dwelling with a small kitchen, sitting area, dining table, music corner, whiskey cabinet, central wood-burning stove, etc. Bed linens are always fresh. There are two single beds, a fold-out bed, and a crib if needed. For cold nights, extra blankets and an electric heater are available. Breakfast is included for the first night. Are you staying for multiple nights? Then you can book breakfast for the remaining mornings for €25 per breakfast (for 2 to 3 people). Our breakfast consists of traditional Mongolian dishes with a modern touch. We also offer cooking workshops for traditional Mongolian dishes! Guest access The entire yurt is available and will of course only be used by you. You have your own private garden of 350m². But above all, feel at home. We are very easy with everything and if you have any questions about anything... ask, knock on our door or send us a message! Important: You sometimes share the driveway and parking lot with guests staying in our farm guest house. Other things to note We love animals very much around us. We therefore have chickens and pigs in the garden. It is a pleasure to see them busy, and they are very cozy animals. The rooster sometimes wants to make some noise in the morning, be aware of that. Finally, we have a very large but very sweet dog. He loves new guests and making friends. If you don't like dogs, please let us know, and we will make sure he doesn't bother you!
