Welcome to Little Bear Lodge! This charming cabin was recently renovated and every detail carefully thought out to create the ultimate escape to the Poconos. Nestled in a serene wooded setting within a Country Club full of amenities and close to all major attractions! This retreat seamlessly blends the tranquility of nature with modern design & comfort for an unforgettable getaway. Featuring a cozy fireplace, brand new built-in hot tub, fully equipped kitchen and much more! The space THE PROPERTY The property has 3 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and new memory foam mattresses. The main space is open concept with high ceilings and a modern rustic design. The kitchen was recently renovated and comes fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a meal. Out back you will find an incredible deck and outdoor space including a built-in 6 person hot tub, large hammock, firepit area, gas grill and more! Please refer to the photos! The house is also equipped with a selection of classic games including Monopoly, Clue, Battleship and Yahtzee as well as a record player and large collection of records. Spend quality time connecting with family and friends listening to some vintage tunes or playing an exciting game during your stay. THE COMMUNITY The cabin is located in Poconos Farms Country Club, a top rated community full of amenities in the heart of the Poconos. Only two hours from NYC and Philadelphia, the community offers a championship golf course and practice facility as well as a restaurant, Olympic size pool, tennis courts, fitness center, sandy beach, stocked lake, and entertainment events for every member of the family. REGISTRATION FEE / AMENITIES The community registration fee is included as part of your booking cost and provides access to the amenities. Wristbands must be worn at all times while using amenities. Guests will receive six (6) paid amenity wristbands and additional are available if needed. Guests can pick up wristbands at Member Services on Monday-Saturday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Please note fitness center and golf are not included in the paid amenities and require an additional fee to use. POOL (Seasonal) - the heated Olympic sized pool is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. The pool provides lounge chairs, tables, oversized umbrellas and a pavilion for your leisure, as well as a snack bar. Pool is also equipped with a diving board, 6 foot tall slide, and volleyball net. LAKE & BEACH (Seasonal) - Come take a dip in the natural spring fed Glacier Lake! Located behind the Clubhouse is the 11 acre lake which is open during our summer season. Spend your day lounging on the smooth white sand while soaking in the sun. The lake is also open for boating and fishing and is stocked annually with a large assortment of fish. KAYAKING & PADDLE BOARDING (Seasonal) - Kayaks and Paddle Boards are available at no additional cost at Glacier Lake on Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm during the summer for our renters. First come first serve. GOLF COURSE - Pocono Farms boasts one of the finest golf courses in the Northeast! Renters who do not have a golf membership can still play or take golf lessons at their leisure for additional fee. For more information call the Pro Shop. TENNIS & PICKLEBALL - Pocono Farms has two tennis courts and two pickleball courts that have been recently resurfaced. With a covered spectator area, individuals can cool off, relax, and watch tennis throughout the day! Equipment available to borrow at Member Services. BASKETBALL - Pocono Farms has a newly constructed high school regulation full court basketball area connected to our pool! Renters have access to this fenced in court via the pool’s main entrance. FITNESS CENTER - The Pocono Farms Fitness Center is equipped with state-of-the art equipment, an aerobic workout room, group classes and personal training for all ages 13 and up. While you are working out, you can enjoy a picturesque view of Glacier Lake! Additional fees apply for fitness center. OTHER ATTRACTIONS - There are a host of attractions nearby within a short drive including ski mountains (Camelback, Jack Frost, Big Boulder), indoor water parks (Kalahari, Great Wolf), Pocono Raceway, Mount Airy Casino, Premium Shopping Outlets, Pocono Brewery and much more! There are also many outdoor activities such as hiking, horse back riding, ATVs, white water rafting, fishing, boating and paint balling. Reach out if you would like any recommendations! Other things to note PETS We love our furry friends and they are welcome at Little Bear Lodge with open arms! There is an additional $100 pet fee, so please make sure pets are reflected in the booking if you are bringing one. WILDLIFE It is not uncommon to spot deer prancing around or perhaps catch a glimpse of a black bear foraging in the woods. While these encounters can be exciting, it's important to remember not to engage with or feed the animals to maintain their natural environment.
