Head 17 miles east to the Rawah Wilderness or 23 miles west to the Mt Zirkel Wilderness. Go North 11 miles to Walden's very own sand dunes or go south 7 miles to the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge. You are only 30 miles from Steamboat Springs Ski Resort.
