Welcome to LJ Manor, a beautifully remodeled farmhouse dating back to the 1880s. Nestled in the serene countryside, this historic home offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located just a short drive to Virginia Tech, the New River and numerous hiking trails including the famous Cascades, LJ Manor is the ideal retreat for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and those simply seeking a peaceful getaway. The space LJ Manor is a 30 minute drive to Virginia Tech, 25 minute drive to the Cascades, Dismal Falls and Mountain Lake. Ingles Landing (New River) and The Palisades restaurant is a short 10 minute drive. The living room has a 55 inch smart TV with use of streaming services with your sign on information. There are 4 spacious bedrooms comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. There are 2 full bathrooms that are not adjacent to any of the bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. The first bedroom on the main level has a king size bed. The other 3 bedrooms are on the upper level. One bedroom has a queen size bed. And the other 2 bedrooms are connected and have 2 twin beds and a king size bed with a door separating the two rooms. Perfect for the couple that has kids and wants them close but have their own space. This house sits on 35 wooded acres but has a neighboring house on the other side of the driveway. Guest access Guest have full access to the entire farmhouse. There are other buildings (Shed and wellhouse) on the property that guests do not need to access. Other things to note Please note that cell service is VERY LIMITED. The only carrier we have found to have any service is Verizon. The house has great Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling is available. Please note the house only has a starter pack of trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods and dish detergent. You are responsible to bring extras if you exceed this amount.
