Ample storage and closet space will ensure you have plenty of room whether staying for just a night - or a few weeks. Although a shared room in my home, do not feel that your stay is limited to "your room". I strive to ensure that each guest who stays feels as if they are in their 2nd home. So feel free to use the kitchen to cook yourself a meal, use the home office, or stretch out in the living room for a movie. I allow full access and use of anything you may find. Need to do laundry and or need a snack - help yourself! As mentioned, it is a shared home, I typically like to welcome guests if I am home, give a really brief tour and then leave you to enjoy your time. I live in busy residential section of Syracuse with several large apartment buildings in the area (one across the street included). My home is also situated between two college campuses and between two main arterial streets, so noise is to be expected. The neighborhood is quite safe, with a police station just a few blocks away. Neighbors are great, and laid back. Only a five minute walk to a bus stop, 15 minutes from the airport, and ten minutes from the regional bus/train station! There are also several taxi companies in the area as well as Uber/Lyft. Ideally, though the best way to get around is by car. Upon check in, I leave a "guide" with area information and tips on getting around as well as the local bus schedule. I also live in the home as well, The single bathroom is located on the first floor. There are three cameras outside, however they have been disconnected and non functional for several years.
