The 300sq ft cabin sits on the edge of a one acre stocked pond with a view. You will experience elements of Primitive Living coupled with Modern Amenities surrounded by Nature. View the neighboring cows, horses and goats. Fish, grill, kayak, and enjoy an outdoor fire. The space is comfortable for two. Pet friendly. If privacy matters, you have arrived! Our property is very peaceful and secluded. If you’re looking for a place to relax, away from other humans, then you’ve found it. Feed the large channel catfish, turtles and ducks with food provided. Grab the telescope and view the stars at night. There are countless insects such as native dragonfly and bumblebees. Many species of birds can be sighted. We have frequent visits from Great Blue Heron, and if you’re lucky, you may spot a pair of local Bald Eagles. Please be advised that the dirt road leading to the property is about a mile long, and maintained by the county, so bad weather can affect the road conditions. We are happy to transport you to the cabin from the main Okie Grown Farm animal sanctuary which is 2 miles away. The nearest grocery store is in Bixby, about a 20 min drive. There is running water to the cabin, but purposely located outside. A compost toilet and hand washing station, along with sanitation wipes , and other supplies are located inside . The shower and sink are located outside on the partially wrapped deck, Yes, there is hot water! A microwave, Keurig coffee machine, mini fridge with freezer, and a Primo drinking water system are available. There is an electric grill available on the deck with supplies. Safety is our #1 priority, so If you would like to do any activities on the property such as fishing (bring your own fishing gear), kayaking (we provide the kayaks and floatation vests) or your own 4 wheeler or horse, you will need to sign a liability waiver upon arrival. A walking trail allows you to explore the entire property while the native wildlife remain undisturbed in the taller grasses. We want you to enjoy everything the property has to offer, which is mainly outdoor space and privacy. The cabin has WiFi and smartTV. Please note streaming on apps like Netflix, Prime etc are available by logging into your account. Live TV via YouTube TV. The price is based on two people . Any additional guests or pets must be discussed and approved. We have spent countless hours restoring the property to its former glory, and we are not done yet. Getting to cabin is off road with a drive through pasture. A 4x4 is strongly recommended especially during inclement conditions. Will provide transport from our main Farm just a few minutes away if needed and arranged in advance. Other things to note Listing is for 2 because of one king bed. Additional guests or pets will need to be approved before arrival. This is a rural setting so be mindful of wild animals including but not limited to snakes, coyotes, deer, opossums and raccoons. In addition certain times of the year ticks and mosquitoes are possible. Insect repellent is supplied. NO HUNTING ALLOWED NO Swimming in the pond!
