The space You have private access to the ground-floor flat within the historic manor house and estate and can park near the entrance within the premises. Trees and greenery surround the property and is perfect for a tranquil stay. The large bedroom/living suite (500 square feet) features a super king-size bed with a high-quality Simba Hybrid mattress, two bedside tables with lamps, all cotton bedding and extra pillows and cushions for your comfort. Mid-century Ercol furniture adorns the suite. There is a designated seating area with two distinctive Ercol chairs in the bay window where you can watch TV (with AppleTV to access streaming services) or relax and read. An oversized floor lamp can be used at night. Enjoy the natural daylight and garden views from the large bay windows with privacy film for your comfort. A comfy handmade John Sankey armchair with a footstool is next to the fireplace with exquisite blue Dutch Delft tiles around it. Each tile is individually hand-painted, depicting a different scene. There is an Ercol dining table with two dining chairs and an Ercol sideboard with a retro-styled DAB/Bluetooth-enabled radio/speaker and lamp at the room's far end. The table can be used as a desk to work from with easy access to electrical points. The separate kitchenette (doors to close off the bedroom suite and walk-in wardrobe) has a beautiful skylight letting in natural light and includes a mini grill/oven/toaster, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine with milk frother, and fridge/freezer. There is a breakfast bar with two stools, which also provides additional counter space as needed. Kitchen essentials are provided. The walk-in wardrobe/room includes a dressing table, washing machine and separate dryer (can be used off-peak hours), a large wardrobe with hangers, an ironing board with iron, and a clothes drying rack. The walk-in wardrobe/utility room leads to the large full bathroom with a double sink, large walk-in shower, bath, bidet and toilet. There is also a chair and towels and other essentials are provided. Underfloor heating in both the walk-in wardrobe/utility room and bathroom. It's just a 5-minute walk to/from the High Street and a 15-minute walk to/from the train station. ONE parking space can be used near the main entrance for your car with a sign, and any additional cars can be parked on the street (on the curb) for free, there is no yellow line. The flat is mostly on one level, but there is one small step leading into the walk-in closet and bathroom, both on the same level. It's just a 5-minute walk to/from the High Street and a 15-minute walk to/from the train station. No smoking or vaping indoors, and no parties allowed. Pets not allowed. Designated space for ONE car, additional cars can be parked on the curb on the roadside for free, and not within the premises.
