East African Art Gallery

Immerse yourself in the beauty of East African art and nature in this unique, spacious home with fantastic gardens. This 3 bedroom home also houses an art gallery on the premises. Experience the community of Arusha from a very safe neighborhood on the West Side of town in your private, gated home. With a wonderful staff including a gardener, housekeeper, cook and night time guard, you are well taken care of. Car for around town use available at extra cost. The space The property is about 2 acres and lays on the outskirts of Arusha on the road to the National Parks of Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and the Serengeti. It is an incredibly quiet space, with neighbors close by but also farm plots surrounding the property, making it a space where you can find peace and listen to the birds in the garden. The garden is mature extensive with vegetable plots, flowers, trees and a large lawn. Some of the vegetarion on the property includes banana trees, mango trees, avocado trees, lemon trees, coffee bushes, hibiscus trees and elderberry bushes as well as rasberries, blackberries, strawberries, and passion fruit. There is a tea garden growing as well as a vegetable garden. Also on the property is an art studio and a staff building. We do have dogs on the property, but they are sweet and friendly and are taken care of by our wonderful housekeeper and gardener. Inside the house we have a main room, which does house art that is for sale, a well stocked kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has an extra loft space and the master bedroom has a bathroom with a bathtub. We are close by the Sable Square, where you can pick up groceries as well as frequent several restaurants, go tot he gym and do a bit of shopping. Guest access The house is open to you, though some outer storage space will be closed to allow for the storage of the family's personal belongings. It is important to note that the art studio and the main room of the house will occassionally have visitors who are looking at the art that is for sale. There is a door that can be locked between the main room and the bedrooms/bathrooms to ensure that guests have their privacy. Guests to the art gallery are by appointment only and will not be too frequent.
