Casa Eliot - Mushroom Farm

We are 4.3 km (7 minutes) from the city center. Located on the site next to our house on Linha Ávila Alta 2090, all paved route. The house is handcrafted, with a green roof and large garden. It accommodates 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children, 1 bedroom (double bed and sofa bed), 1 bathroom, kitchen equipped with minibar, stove, microwave, electric coffee maker, grill and utensils. Bed and bath linens are also available, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity. The space In our second youth, with the health to see and feel, live and work, we, a couple, having studied and lived in the urban environment, came to reside in a rural space and, reconciling with the profession, we became mushroom farmers. On the property, there are two Zen-inspired lakes for contemplation and, with the growth of the plants and the animals that enjoyed living there, the place has come to evoke a pleasant feeling and a certain mystery. We have received from it a sense of belonging and identity. In the garden, the lighting is always indirect, thus making it possible to look at the starry sky as well as producing light and shadow effects. We built 4 houses to host in different years, taking care of the privacy of each one and individual constructive art, as well as each interior, but all with a roof like a Garden. When receiving guests, we devote ourselves to cordiality, in order to evoke the best education of each one, certain that only this makes a delicate joy possible. In the last year, we continued to expand the garden and worked on a collective space for events of up to 50 people. It has an intimate air, with stone, wood and plants, and I would say, for more civilized joys. The family meets there on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. for a movie session, and if the guest is an appreciator, he or she will be welcome. Thus, guided by a certain need to look and feel, within living and working, and having health and arms, we went together with the cultivation of mushrooms, trying to form a pleasant environment, which has given us comfort and identity. It was in this space that we handcrafted a touring home to host. Three other things are dear to us and conscious every day and come for free, it is the freshness of the mountain air and its silence in the evening and at dawn, the starry sky and the chirping and chirping in the chirps of the little birds.
