Montboulard, a former 17th-century Charentaise farmhouse, offers bed and breakfast rooms, suites, and gîtes for an idyllic stay in France. Montboulard provides easy access to Angoulême, with the warmth of a home and the benefits of a quality property, including a beautiful 15-meter heated swimming pool, extensive woodland trails, a laundry room, and easy parking. The space Le Champs is a bungalow built in 2020. With a surface area of 861 sq ft, it features a large master bedroom with a queen-size bed, an open-plan kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The garden has seating for two, with views of the sports fields and bamboo garden. As always, Wi-Fi and pool access are included. Guest access Just a few minutes from the N10, between Poitiers and Bordeaux, lies Angoulême, the comic strip capital and gateway to the Périgord, Dordogne, and the French Atlantic coast. We are surrounded by 40 hectares of woods, with a courtyard and a private tower, and just 12 minutes from the center of Angoulême. We provide a relaxing haven from which you can explore the region, its restaurants, vineyards, ruins, and historical sites. Dining options are plentiful, from Michelin-starred establishments to local dishes, as well as fast-casual dining. Montboulard is equidistant from the Atlantic beaches and the Dordogne destinations. Closer by, Angoulême is famous for its festivals, culture, and old city center. Outdoor activities for adults and children abound: kayaking, boating, swimming, zip-lining, cycling, hiking, and horseback riding. There are several large grocery stores and supermarkets within five minutes, as well as nearly 40 restaurants (we'll tell you our favorites) within 10-15 minutes in Angoulême, Soyaux, and the surrounding areas. Other things to note In response to our guests who want to control their costs for the long stay, we initially propose a "Limited Services" rate which you can upgrade to a "Full Service" rate for your stay. Please let us know in advance if you want to upgrade your stay. The following items are EXCLUDED from the Limited Services rate that you will have initially reserved on Airbnb : - Weekly cleaning of the gîte - Use of the laundry room and cleaning supplies - Fees for your pet - Firewood for the wood burner in the chimney (electric radiator heat provided) The cost to upgrade your stay from Limited Services to Full Services is 15 EUR per day for every day of your stay.
