Rural House near Sancerre 2 bedrooms

Our house is located in a village deep in central France. It is furnished with an authentic décor. The area is peaceful with undulating hills onto the vineyards of Sancerre. The Loire offers canoeing and cycling. The city of Bourges and its stunning Gothic cathedral is only 40 kms away. You can visit various chateaux close by and enjoy the light show at St Fargeau. A 2-hour train ride goes into Paris. Our central location makes it an ideal stopover for travellers. The owner is close to assist. The space The main living area is comfortable with easy chairs and a coffee table. The room incorporates a dining table and antique sideboard. The room is further enhanced with quality prints and art works. The small kitchen is typically French, with an oven, fridge and washing machine plus storage in the 1950’s cupboard as well as under the sink and open plan shelving. Leading up the oak staircase to the master bedroom with original parquet floors and a queen size bed. There are French antiques including wardrobe, side tables and fireplace. The windows are huge with privacy curtains and shutters. The hallway leads to the bathroom and the second bedroom with two single beds and an original wardrobe, a side table and again quality artworks on the wall. The bathroom has a vanity basin, shower and w.c. Many features from the 19th century are retained but rearranged to reflect contemporary tastes . The garden is private with a small decorative wrought iron table and chairs with a barbecue. Flowers and plants abound. An antique table and chairs is located in the bottom of the garden to take yours meals. Guest access This is a whole house occupancy and in addition you could have access to our private tennis court. Other things to note Feux is a rural, agricultural village with all that goes with farming and food production. There can be a passage of tractors and other machinery passing through on the road. Not always neat and tidy but it has a rustic charm that reflects past times.
