Scugog East Lakefront Cottage

WELCOME TO YOUR SCUGOG LAKESIDE PARADISE. Relax in the back yard hot tub while watching the sunset over Lake Scugog. Check out the beautiful view across the Lake as you dine in the lakeside sunroom. Cottage has 2 bedrooms and 3 large beds (2 queen 1 double) with gas heating and air conditioning for your comfort. Renovated kitchen, private 40ft dock, games room, indoor gas fireplace and outdoor firepit. Located only 1 hour from the city it is the perfect relaxing getaway from busy city life. The space The cottage has 2 bedrooms with 3 beds, 2 queen beds and 1 double bed. It sleeps 4 persons comfortably. There is a large 3 person couch in the family room along with a 2 person love seat and a 1 person lounge chair. There are 3 dining areas which include a small 4 person table and chairs just off the kitchen, a large 6 person dining table and chairs in the sunroom which overlooks the lake, and an outdoor 4 person patio table and chairs at the front of the house. There is an indoor gas fireplace in the family room, and 3 wall mounted air conditioning/heating units which are located in the family room, and both bedrooms. There are 2 TVs located in the family room and in the sun room. Both have access to Prime Video, Apple TV, Disney+ & Discovery+. There is WiFi throughout the cottage and use of a small portable bluetooth speaker. Enjoy your own private games room with a basketball arcade game or indulge in playing the retro arcade machine with over 2000 games including all the classics from the 80s and 90s. The back yard is the best. It has a hot tub looking out across the lake, a natural gas BBQ so the gas will never run out, a fire pit, a 40 foot dock (dock removed in winter), 6 deck chairs and a love seat. There are kayaks with life jackets for your pleasure along with board games and a full size corn hole game. The driveway has parking for 4 cars. Guest access There is a garage at the front of the property which is locked and has no guest access. Guests have access to the dock but are not permitted to use the boat which is sometimes left at the dock. Note that even with the boat, the dock is large enough for fishing, swimming and docking another boat. Note that the dock and boat are both removed in the winter. Other things to note - No parties or events. This is a peaceful area so please do not book this cottage to host a party. - Strictly no smoking in the cottage - No pets - Only the staying guest are allowed in the cottage, outsiders are not allowed for security reasons PLAYGROUND There is an outdoor public childrens playground only 200 metres from the cottage BOAT LAUNCH There is a free public boat launch only 200 metres from the cottage GOLF COURSE There is a public golf course only 700 metres from the cottage GROCERY/BEER STORE/LCBO There is a convenience store which is also an LCBO/Beer store outlet only 650 metres from the cottage GROCERY/ENTERTAINMENT/DINING The town of Lindsay is only 18 minute drive and has dining, grocery, shopping malls and drive in cinema. The town of Port Perry is only 23 minute drive and has dining, grocery and entertainment.
