The Hidden House

This newly renovated historic home is close to everything-making it easy to plan your visit. Tucked neatly into the charming side streets of bustling downtown Westerly, you’ll find yourself less than a 5 minute walk to award winning restaurants, the Westerly Amtrak Train Station, and the outstanding United Theatre! Beaches of Misquamicut and the village of Watch Hill are just a short ride away. Beach access is included with your stay. The space The Hidden House has an open floor plan on the first floor; you will find a spacious kitchen with 4 counter stools around large island, and a dining area just adjacent. The living room is visible and open to both kitchen and dining area, perfect for gatherings with family or friends. There is a half bath on the first floor. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The primary bedroom features a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom with a spacious tiled stand up shower and double sinks. There are two closets, a TV, and dressing room with a dresser and full length mirror. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, two closets, a small dresser, and TV. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds with a trundle bed under one, allowing for 3 total to sleep in that room, with one closet. There is a full bath with a stand up tiled shower and vanity, for use of guests staying in bedroom 2 and 3. The brand new washer and dryer are also found upstairs in the hall closet. Outside, guests can enjoy a private courtyard patio area accessible directly from the kitchen. An outdoor dining set, grill, and charming string lights make this space one of the highlights of your stay as you enjoy the sounds of downtown Westerly. There is a small yard of grass that abuts the parking area (parking area for home is a shared space). The charm of The Hidden House is just that-it’s historic location, built before many of the buildings around it were constructed, giving it its tucked away, “hidden” feeling. The home can be accessed two ways-a walking path from a main road in downtown Westerly, or from the back entrance where you would find your parking spot. A Ring floodlight camera has been installed on the walking path to the street to assist with nighttime visibility. Guest access Guests have use of the entire home, with exception of the unfinished basement. Other things to note Absolutely no smoking inside or outside at the property.
