Enjoy a quiet, comfortable home-from-home, set in a small, no-through-road Close in a tranquil village, just outside Bude, only a mile or so from the beach. Families and couples only - sorry, no singles, hens or stags (not a party house!!). Bookings are currently for August only, a week at a time, and run Saturday to Saturday. Church and pub with food within 5-10 minutes walk. Bude and beaches around 5 minutes by car. The space Roses-Round-the-Door is a modern house, with traditional character, an open front lawn (neighbours have well-behaved dogs) and small, private, secluded rear patio garden to enjoy (no BBQs or outside music please!). There is a generous kitchen diner, through-lounge with patio door, and downstairs loo. Upstairs are a double bedroom with en suite shower room, a twin, and a single, and family bath/shower. Please note - not suitable for those with a cat allergy as a cat lives here in winter! Towels supplied, but please bring your own beach towels. Heating and hot water is by oil-fired combi boiler. Please note, no smoking/vaping on the premises - thank you. Sorry, no dogs Guest access You have sole occupancy of the house and garden. Parking is for one car only, in front of the garage (no access) on the private driveway. Additional parking across the road in the free car park. Other things to note Bude town beaches - Summerleaze and Crooklets - are around a five minute drive. Northcott Mouth beach is National Trust a mile or so away. All are lifeguarded (10-6) during the holiday season.
