Welcome to our new, ROOM ONLY (NO COOKING FACILITIES), “Sea View Cwtch.” Cwtch meaning a cuddle or embrace, with a sense of offering warmth and safety. Situated in the Pembrokeshire National Park near Porthgain, with uninterrupted views of the North Pembrokeshire coastline towards Strumble Head and Porthgain Harbour and beautiful countryside. Although connected to our family home you will enjoy your own separate access, space and off road parking. There is a 32L fridge & kettle. The space Our family home Bryn Haf has recently undergone a full refurbishment and we are very excited to be able to offer our beautiful sea view annex room for rent on a ROOM ONLY basis. Room only meaning NO COOKING FACILITIES and no breakfast provided, however we do offer many suggestions of where to eat. Sea View Cwtch is located between the Cathedral City of St David’s - the smallest city in Britain with its fine cathedral set in a hidden valley and dedicated to the Patron Saint of Wales - and the Irish ferry port of Fishguard - scene of the last invasion of Britain. We provide tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchenette area, some fresh milk and a sweet treat. Please let us know if you prefer non dairy milk. We also provide some cutlery and small plates for any light bites/snacks you bring. Please use the 35L silent fridge for your own items but NO COOKING FACILITIES are provided as we are a room only service. Sea View Cwtch is accessed via an outside flight of slate steps with handrail so may not be suitable for those with mobility problems. The room is tastefully furnished to a high standard with new furniture and furnishings. It consists of a brand new quality king size bed made up with beautiful Egyptian cotton bed linen, dining table and 2 chairs, comfortable sofa with locally made cushions, coffee table, TV, free WiFi and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. The area offers many places to eat out and an abundance of interesting places to visit, not forgetting the 186 miles of magnificent and varied coastline which can be accessed 1 mile from our property along with many sandy beaches, 50 in total across Pembrokeshire. Guest access We have an abundance of space surrounding our property and on arrival will show you the areas available for your own use. We have a small dog which is always contained in our back garden area and will not be a problem to those who are not keen on dogs. We kindly ask that you refrain from entering the gated fenced area as our small labradoodle is within this area. You are however welcome to roam the 5 acre meadow area which during the spring and summertime is in full bloom. There is a picnic table for your use here. Other things to note For those with mobility issues the guest room is accessed via a flight of steps. Please bear in mind that we are a ROOM ONLY service so therefore breakfast is not included and there are no cooking facilities, only a small 35L silent fridge to hold a few personal fridge items or drinks.
