On the ground floor, you’ll find a sleek, modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower, fluffy towels, and complimentary shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Head upstairs to a bright, open-plan space where the lounge, kitchenette, and bedroom blend seamlessly. At the heart of the room is a grand, custom-built king-size four-poster bed. Relax in front of the 55" Smart TV (log into your Netflix, Apple or Prime account), enjoy superfast Wi-Fi, or unwind with a book or board game. Prefer a night out? Enjoy a relaxing evening just steps away at the Oakhill Inn, only a 2-minute stroll from your door. Here you’ll be welcomed with warm hospitality, freshly prepared dishes, and locally crafted ales. For those wishing to explore further, the surrounding countryside is dotted with charming gastro pubs, each offering unique menus and a true taste of the region. The well-equipped kitchenette includes a dishwasher, fridge, Dualit toaster and kettle, Ninja air fryer, combi microwave, and a Nespresso machine with pods. There is no oven or washing machine, but there is nothing romantic about cooking or laundry - we hope you agree! Just 10 minutes from Wells, The Mews offers the perfect base for discovering the best of Somerset. Within easy reach are the vibrant cities of Bristol and Bath, as well as the historic and cultural gems of Glastonbury, Frome, Bruton, Castle Cary, Mells and Nunney. You will enter through your own front door. We do have a private office located within The Mews which we use, however the office has it's own private entrance and is totally self contained assuring you of complete privacy during your stay. Other things to note There is no private parking but there is normally plenty of parking available in the village and there is no charge. We do have a dog, a miniature schnauzer, and he will bark when you arrive or leave. We have a private office located within The Mews. It has it's own entrance and is completely self contained. The Mews does not have an oven, freezer or a washing machine. Oakhill does not have lots of street lighting - we love this as it gives you a great view of the night sky. We do provide a torch to make walking at night easier. The main areas of The Mews are located up a flight of stairs and therefore needs to be considered if stairs are a challenge for you. This is a strictly no smoking or vaping property. We do not permit pets.
