The French Country Gem

The French Country Gem is located on the second floor of a newly renovated building built in 1896. It served the needs of a city bursting at the seams from an oil, coal, and gold rush. Its vintage charm has remained intact with its hardwood floors, transom windows, pocket doors, and exposed original brick. Modern comforts were added such as an oversized bed, open floor plan, A/C, and WiFi. Located 1 block off of Main Street makes it an easy to walk to all the shops & eateries. The space The property is located on the second floor and there is no elevator in the building. At the top of the stairs is the bathroom (no tub) stocked with toiletries, extra towels, etc. As you wind around the staircase you are greeted with an open floor plan as the living, dining, and kitchen all communicate. The master bedroom is also off of this area with curtains if you’d like to close off the bedroom from the rest of the apartment. The 2nd bedroom is down the hall and is equipped with a twin sized day bed but can also be made into two twins or a queen sized bed with the use of a pop up trundle. Hardwood floors throughout and some of the original exposed bricks are visible in certain areas. Guest access Please use the entire upstairs living space, the upper outdoor patio off of the kitchen and the lower patio as your home away from home. There is also a washer and dryer through the glass paned door off of the lower patio for use if you need it. Inside that room you will find a small grill and a small refrigerator and freezer for your use as well.
