This 500 sq. ft. guest house with private entrance is located in historic Midtown. Home is just blocks from Piedmont Park, Peachtree Street, the Fox, and Ponce City Market. Walk, bike, Bird or Uber to dozens of bars and restaurants or straight on to the Beltline. Just 7 minutes from downtown and an easy 20 min Uber or MARTA ride from the airport, house is fully equipped with everything you need for a long or short stay in Atlanta. Our guests are frequently in town for events at the Mercedes Dome, State Farm Arena, the Aquarium, Georgia Tech and the Fox Theatre. The guesthouse is also within blocks (5-10 min walk) to the Shaky Knees Festival, Music Midtown, the Dogwood Festival or any of the multitude of events taking place in Piedmont Park. We also frequently host guests utilizing the close medical facilities including Emory University Hospital. Midtown is a very walkable area of the city, offering visitors dozens of food and entertainment options within a 5-10-minute walk. The closest intersection is Argonne and 6th street. Other things to note NUMBER OF GUESTS/BEDS: We have one queen size bed, a couch & and air mattress available. The couch DOES NOT pull out. We are very flexible if guests want to utilize the full space (two couples, parents + kids) - as long as you recognize that it is one queen size bed. SMOKING: This is a 100% NON smoking unit. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, including outside the structure in the yard. PETS: We are pet friendly. You do not need pre-approval prior to booking with your pet but you MUST disclose that you will have a pet with you. Please do to show up with a pet that you have not told us about in advance. This is for the safety of the pets onsite, as well as your own. We routinely have foster puppies in residence, some not yet complete with all their vaccinations. For this reason, we ask that ALL pets are on some type of flea/tick preventative and have been fully vaccinated. We supply dog bowls, leash and pet bags for your use. Please make sure you choose PET on the reservation form otherwise a revised reservation inclusive of the pet fee will be sent to you prior to check in.
