Description
Enjoy a private 25-foot camper on the family property of Rainbow Jim, a famous hunting and fishing guide! Located along the Manistee River, the public boat launch is 1000 ft away with state land and ORV trails all around. The Village of Fife Lake is 5 miles away. Kalkaska and Cadillac are 20 minutes away, and Traverse City is just 30 minutes away. The perfect spot for a Northern Michigan getaway! The space The camper sleeps 4 comfortably (1 queen and 2 bunks) but can accommodate up to 6 guests (if using the two convertible beds in the main cabin). It has a private master bedroom with a queen bed, two bunk beds in main cabin and the couch and dining table can make two additional beds if needed. There is one bathroom (stand up shower, toilet, sink). The kitchen is fully equipped with full size fridge and freezer, sink, stove, oven, and microwave. There is a dining table inside (seats 4) and outside also has a BBQ grill (charcoal) as well as an outdoor kitchen with mini fridge and sink. There's outdoor seating for four and a firepit at the campsite. The camper has full WIFI, a tv with Roku. It is fully stocked with bed linens (extra blankets and comforters too), kitchen cookware, plates, cups, and utensils, bath towels, soap/conditioner/shampoo. There is a Keurig and coffee pods in the camper also. Guest access Guests may use the groomed site in and around the camper. There is ample parking and space for storage of outdoor items if needed. Please do not park on driveway, as the property owner lives at the end of the drive (approx. 1/2 mile away from camper) and we use the same driveway to get to/from our home. Other things to note Upon arrival, you will be provided with 230 gallons of fresh water. Our water comes from an Artisan well, and is filtered 2x before it's delivered to the campers water supply tanks. In addition, the camper is equipped with a water filtration system with two different size filters (see photo in addtl photos). The 230 gallons of water should be sufficient for your needs, however if you need more, it is available for a nominal fee through the property owners. When the weather gets cold (typically Nov-March) the camper will be available for dry camp rentals. A supply of firewood can be supplied for a nominal fee through the property owners. The camper is equipped with (2) propane tanks which will be full at the start of your stay. If you run through both tanks, you must get the tanks refilled (not exchanged) from a certified propane seller (property owner can provide you with local businesses for refills). Two tanks should be sufficient for most short stays (especially in warmer months where heat is not required). If you depart and the second tank is left empty, the cost to refill will come out of your deposit. CAMPER RULES: Absolutely NO SMOKING/VAPING/E-CIGARETTES inside the camper In the event of inclement weather, make sure to retract the outdoor canopy.
