A cozy, detached house in a quiet, pretty village in the Vexin, adjoining the owners' house. Sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms, 2 new double beds). Ground floor: Living/dining room, kitchen, toilet, access to tiled terrace and BBQ, UPSTAIRS (staircase with handrail) 2 bedrooms, walk-in shower, toilet. 40 km from Paris by road (or 5 minutes to Saint-Lazare train station or 20 minutes to RER A train station). A 2-hour drive from Deauville or the Baie de Somme. The space An authentic, functional and very pleasant house, all the windows open to greenery. Peace and bird songs on the agenda. The house adjoining ours, totally independent includes 2 beautiful bedrooms upstairs (ramp on the stairs) a shower room (walk-in)/wc, on the ground floor wc, living/dining room, kitchen (coffee capsules available for a night, microwave, fridge, induction hob...), a terrace not overlooked with BBQ on sunny days, view of the English garden. Towels provided. Organic or natural or eco-responsible shampoo and shower gel available. Bedding is new, anti-mite mattresses and hypoallergenic. The house is entirely dedicated to guests. We are in the heart of the French Vexin Regional Natural Park in a charming village of stone houses, surrounded by fields. The GR2 passes through the village and a heritage trail accessible to all makes a loop. Rack for 4 bikes in front of the house, they can be returned to the terrace for the night. Near Meulan-en-Yvelines (5 minutes by car), Intermarché, Auchan, Lidl, Grand Frais, Picard... gas stations, small shops in the city center. Visiting for a party in the surrounding area (we are in the village 800m from the mill of Metz and the mill of the marshes, not far from the castle of Hardricourt, good joys...), as part of a professional trip or for a few days of discovery between Paris and the Normandy beaches we will be delighted to welcome you there. Committed, we chose to hunt for decor and furnishings. Garden labeled "Eco-refuge LANAC, sanctuary for biodiversity". Ideally located in the countryside between Normandy beaches, Somme Bay, Cabourg, Etretat (all these places 2 hours from the house) and other must-see places to visit the west of Paris (Versailles, Giverny, La Roche Guyon, Chantilly...), the house is 40 km from Paris by car by A13, A14 or A15. 20/30 minutes by car from RER A de Cergy or Poissy stations for Paris or line TER line J (train station 5 minutes away, free parking) to St Lazare. Guest access The entire place is dedicated to guests, and this includes a paved terrace in the back of the house. We have chosen to delimit this space by an open low fence which allows you to enjoy it without vis-à-vis while leaving you the garden totally visible. Attention for different reasons our friends pets are not allowed in our house! A parking space for a standard-sized vehicle is dedicated to you at the foot of the house. For cyclists, bikes can be brought inside and placed on the terrace. A rack for 4 bicycles is installed in front of the house on the street (behind the hedge). Other things to note We do not allow our guests to have visitors in the house. Accounting certificate possible for companies. The house's garden is labeled "Eco-refuge LANAC, sanctuary for biodiversity." Nesting boxes are installed there for birds, and it is common to see hedgehogs walking around at dusk. Shelters are available for them. We offer waste sorting and composting of organic waste to our guests. Bathroom towels, duvets (in place), and extra blankets are available. A crib and high chair on request. Our daughter can babysit. 30 meters from fields and plains for walks and jogging, with many equestrian centers and golf courses nearby. A 2-hour heritage trail loop going around the village and its points of interest, accessible to all. We are in contact with guides from Vexin for guided walks and with animal and nature photographers for outings. Private paved terrace of about 12 m2 under lilacs and hibiscus, not overlooked. Garden table and chairs, barbecue, view of the rest of the house's garden. Also available in the kitchen: crepe maker, electric griddle, rice cooker. Pastry shop on the next street, pastries for breakfast on order.
