We're a family-oriented couple who believe that the best things in life are meant to be shared, a favorite recipe, a great local restaurant, a fascinating book, or in this case, our own little piece of heaven here in the beautiful state of Maine. Owning a lakehouse was always a dream of ours, one that took time, patience, and a whole lot of heart to make a reality. When we found this gem, we knew immediately she was the one. She needed some love and tender care, but from the moment we saw her, we could picture it, our children laughing by the water, family gathered around a bonfire, friends kayaking on a crystal-clear lake at golden hour. We rolled up our sleeves and poured everything into making this place something truly special. Once we had built those memories for ourselves, it felt only natural to open our doors and let other families do the same. That's exactly why we started hosting, and three to five years later, watching guests arrive as strangers and leave feeling restored is still the best part of what we do.
