The Retreat at Broadkill Beach

The Retreat is a beautiful cottage one short block from the most expansive and peaceful section of Broadkill Beach! This three bedroom, two full bath home is on a private dead end street. Cozy, yet spacious, our pet friendly beach house sleeps 8 and is your perfect quiet and relaxing getaway. Stocked with board games, a large deck with a grill, an outdoor shower, and a FENCED IN BACKYARD, this house is pet and family friendly! Come enjoy the tranquility of Broadkill Beach at The Retreat! The space Location: The cottage is located a short block from the most gorgeous stretch of beach at Broadkill. Most times of the year, you may have it to yourself! Our street is quieter than most in Broadkill, and our home has a level of privacy with being on a dead end street. During the summer months, The Broadkill store and deli is about a 15 minute walk away, where bikes are available to rent. The charming and historic town of Milton is about 10-15 minutes away with fun spots like Dogfish Head Brewery or the gorgeous Milton Theater. Downtown Lewes, the oldest town in the state with a rich history and museums, is about 20 minutes away. Visit the stunning Cape Henlopen State Park and bike the legendary trail that connects the beach towns of Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Or visit the Fort Miles Museum in the park. Even bike past President Biden's house! Bedrooms: The retreat has 3 bedrooms, one being a loft off the main kitchen/dining area. Bath towels and linens are provided. Beds are comfortable! The loft bedroom is cozy and carpeted with two single beds. Kids love it. The main floor bedrooms have queen sized beds. Kitchen: The kitchen has recently been upgraded and is gorgeous! New counter tops, and a convenient beverage bar, enjoy your morning coffee with either keureg or drip coffee. Stock the newly purchased beverage fridge with your favorite beverages. Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms, one with a tub, one with an expansive walk in shower. Beach Items: Beach chairs are provided. Beach towels are NOT. Family Friendly Amenities: We have a wide array of board games and puzzles. Guest access Home Access-a door code will be provided before check in provided through Airbnb messaging. The beach at the end of the street is for your access, walk your dog, sunbathe, enjoy!! You will often have it to yourself! Other things to note What’s provided: -All linens and bath towels -Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. -Both a keurig and drip coffee maker, with coffee. -Beach chairs to use. -Beach towels are NOT provided. -Salt, Pepper, most basic cooking amenities! *To Note: The kitchen sink DOES have hot water! Turn the knob up for hot. It’s backwards!!
