Relax, "hang out", and unwind in our comfortable 1-bedroom 1 bathroom basement apartment with private keyless entrance. Located just minutes from Cox South Hospital and tons of great shopping and dining, we hope this space is both inviting and comforable. From the fully equipped kitchen to the relaxing living room and restful bedroom, we want to ensure that your stay with us is nothing short of wonderful. Come in, get comfortable, and make yourself at home in this fun and stylish space. The space This listing is for a basement apartment with one bedroom (king-sized bed), one full bathroom, a full kitchen, and private entrance. Guest access The Space: This is a basement apartment with separate living quarters from the rest of the house. My husband Clint and I are empty-nesters and live in the house with our two cats Holly and Ralphie and our dog Penny. Guests have thier private entrance and private bath, WIFI, and kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a microwave, full-sized fridge and freezer, stove top, oven, and Keureg. The living room has a large screen smart LED TV. The bedroom has a king-sized memory foam mattress and the room has wonderful black-out curtains for a deep and restful night's sleep. Clint and I live above the basement apartment with our elderly medium-sized dog, Penny. We are not loud people but remember, the basement is not soundproof and you will hear us walking and the dog occasionally barking or walking around as well. We will do our best to not create any extra loud noises - especially at night. Also, because it is a basement apartment, it does stay cool. The thermostat is upstairs in our living space but we are happy to adjust it if need be. We keep a high power space heater in the basement too in case you are chilly. You have free range of the apartment and the back yard surrounding the apartment porch. This includes an outdoor seating area with a propane outdoor fire pit. Please dispose of all trash appropriately. If you choose to use the grill, please make sure to turn off the gas when finished and clean up after each use. Parking: Parking is in front of the house on the right side along the curb on Meadowbrook. Please pull past the mailbox and park with the front of your vehicle up by the stone path leading to the back of the house. Other Things to Note: We are happy to provide you with tips and local insight on fun things to do in Springfield. We also provide you with a guidebook available both electronically and a printed book in the apartment. We have our space cleaned thoroughly after each guest. Please let us know if there is an issue and we will take care of it immediately. You can send us a message anytime and we will do our very best to make you happy! *Check-out time: Please be respectful of the Hosts, cleaning service time and the other guests arriving. Please be out of the house at the set time (10:00 am) so we can be diligent with providing the best service we can for all the guests. If you do stay over the set time without prior permission, you will be charged an additional fee of $50.00 per hour after the set check out time. Other things to note In some instances upon booking our property, you will be asked to provide your email address and then to sign a digital copy of our short-term rental lease agreement. The lease agreement outlines the following: Date & term of rental, price per night of property, number of occupants allowed (2), no pets allowed, no tobacco use, no illegal activity allowed, free parking for one to two cars, check-in & check-out time, arrival inspection by tenant, required quiet hours, and extra cleaning fee of $100 if a non-allowed party occurs. Tenant will be required to sign this document and electronically return it to landlord via email within 48 hours of booking.
