While we strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay, it’s important to note that Florida's tropical climate is home to endemic insects, including Palmetto bugs. To minimize encounters, we conduct monthly pest control treatments. This significantly reduces the likelihood of seeing any insects during your stay, but we want to be transparent that the possibility is not entirely eliminated. For your convenience, we have placed bug spray under the sink in the kitchen. Should you encounter one of these native insects, please feel free to use it. Rest assured, the presence of this spray is not indicative of cleanliness or an infestation—rather, it is a minor and unavoidable aspect of living in a tropical environment.
