We are proud that our holiday-let farm runs on around 80% sustainable energy, reflecting our commitment to sustainable living and responsible tourism and allowing guests to enjoy a comfortable stay powered mostly by renewable resources. Steeped in history and nature, the property and grounds really have too many features to mention and readily accommodates up to 14 people. The property is a 17th C Grade II listed farmhouse with 5 bedrooms, a cinema room, a piano room, 2 wood burning fireplaces, a large sitting room, several TV's in bedrooms and the sitting room, internet provided by Starlink (please note this cannot be guaranteed to reach all parts of the house at all times), a well equipped kitchen with 3 Miele ovens and seated dining for up to 16 people. Attached to the farmhouse is a large heated outdoor pergola (with retractable roof and screens) and equipped with a large communal table and chairs for those evening get togethers. Sleeping Arrangements 5 bedroom/2 sofa beds: Master bedroom - King size bed Bedroom 2 - King size or 2 single beds Bedroom 3 - King size or 2 single beds Bedroom 4 - Double bed Bedroom 5 - Double bed 2 Sofabeds made up on request. Sofabed 1 - in the cinema room. Double bed. Sofabed 2- in the piano room. Double bed. Outdoors you will have 15 acres to explore and the little ones can be supervised by farm staff feeding the sheep. There is an outdoor children's play area/tree house and lawned gardens out to the front. Go explore the vineyard and Bluebell woods. We are very proud to say that in 2025 we harvested our first vintage (Bacchus and Pinot Noir grapes) and are looking forward to producing our first batch of wine (still white, rose and sparkling) in the coming year. There is an all weather tennis court with rackets and balls provided. In the extensively refurbished and well equipped pool area you will be delighted to find: A 10M swimming pool heated all year round 2 heated outdoor pergolas by the pool for all year dining and drinks A large hot tub (fits 4-6) heated to 40 deg Celsius A wood burning sauna and steam room (fits 4-6) A well equipped gym accessible from the pool A pool-house bar with pool table and darts, lots of tables and chairs, a wood burning stove and a bar area from which to serve. If you would simply like to relax without having to light fires and keep the heat going please enquire about our concierge service between 7pm - 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings (available at additional cost). Guest access Although this is a working farm, guests are free to access any part of the property although dogs must be kept on a lead and kept away from livestock. Please feel free to explore. Other things to note At times there may be other guests on the farm and you would share the access gates however you would enjoy a good deal of privacy and the facilities listed (pool/steam room/pergolas/treehouse/hot tub) are for your exclusive use only.
