“Home Sweet Home” Enjoy your stay at our rustic, cozy, Vermont guest house. Open floor plan allows for a bright and airy living space Large kitchen, fully stocked with all your cooking needs Washer and Dryer Rustic hardwood floors with area rugs Sleeping arrangements - Full size bed, 2 twin beds, 1 extra twin bed in the entry room. Two person, warm weather, outdoor swing overlooking Deming Pond and the mountain backdrop. Plenty of skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing The space Skiers, Boarders, Lodge Rats, plenty of snow has arrived! 15 minutes to Bromley 30 minutes to Stratton 10 minutes to Manchester or Dorset 2 miles to Vermont Summer Festival 4 miles to Emerald Lake State Park We use the guest house when our children and grandchildren come to visit. It is a rustic, cozy cottage with ample space for four. Our home is on the same property within view of the guest house. We are respectful of your privacy, yet will be available if you need anything. The two acre property is not fenced and the North side is bordered by a well traveled road which can get busy weekday mornings and early evening. The East side is bordered by a 7 acre pond. We are not surrounded by woods. We would like folks aware of this especially with small children or pets. Guest access The entire guest house is yours to enjoy. The garage will be unavailable as it stores some of our personal items. Other things to note There are several designated parking areas which are indicated in the exterior pictures on this post. There are no doors in the bedrooms as it is more of a lofted area. There is a sheer curtain that can be draped across the doorway for privacy. We also have room dividers we can arrange to have available for you if you prefer. Three heater items: If you use the wall heater in the bathroom, the towel heater in the bathroom or the “Dry Guy” boot warmer in the laundry room, please be sure to turn them OFF when you are finished. They will not shut themselves off and can become a hazard. The woodstove is not available for use. We have heat pumps in the house which supply heat and air conditioning.
