Small home by the water

A cozy double chalet right on the waterfront, surrounded by greenery and with plenty of peace and privacy. Enjoy the lovely garden, the spacious covered area and the view over the (fishing) pond. Inside, it is cozy and fully furnished for a relaxing stay. You will be staying in a quiet chalet park, which actually feels more like a cozy residential area, between Breda and Tilburg: wonderfully away from the hustle and bustle, while you can be in the city within a short time. The space The chalet has a cozy living room that feels spacious with an open, fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and one with a bunk bed (80 x 190 cm). The beds are made upon arrival. Our favorite place is the spacious canopy. Thanks to the three closed sides, you can also sit here sheltered on cooler or windy days, overlooking the water. The garden is immediately adjacent to the pond and has a spacious lawn and a private jetty. WiFi, Netflix and various board games are provided. There is also plenty to discover outside the chalet. For a day trip, the Efteling, Safaripark Beekse Bergen, Breda, Tilburg and National Park De Biesbosch are within easy reach, among others. Prefer nature? In the surrounding area, you will find plenty of beautiful hiking and biking possibilities! (Tips can be found in the chalet.) So you can plan an active day here just as easily as doing absolutely nothing. Guest access During your stay, you will have the chalet, garden, canopy, and dock all to yourself. There are two private parking spaces next to the chalet. In addition, guests also have (partial) access to our shed where the washer-dryer combination is located. Other things to note The chalet and the garden are not specially equipped for (small) children. However, there are some toys available. The garden is directly adjacent to the water, and there is no fence along the waterfront. There may also be plants and small objects that are less suitable for young children. Please keep this in mind and take appropriate measures yourself where necessary. TV channels may be limited, since I myself haven't watched TV for about ten years :) It's a smart TV, so there are plenty of choices! There are lots of board games :) There is a minimum stay of 3 nights. Good to know: Gilze-Rijen Air Base is located near Molenschot. On weekdays, you can therefore occasionally see and hear military helicopters flying overhead, sometimes even with a vehicle underneath! Very occasionally, a fighter jet also passes by; from our experience, this happens at most about one day a week. On weekends, it is a lot quieter, and you mainly see gliders and occasionally a nice old-fashioned propeller plane. Secretly, it's quite fun to watch ✈️
