Little Barn is our converted stone barn with a working log burner and mezzanine king bed, set on historic Marshwood Farm at Blue Anchor, ideal for couples wanting a quiet countryside getaway. The open-plan ground floor holds a full kitchen, walk-in shower and a living space with a pull-out double, all step-free from a private entrance. Walkers have the sea within walking distance and Exmoor a short drive off, and heritage steam trains pass close enough to spot from the doorstep. The kitchen sits just behind, fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, plus a washing machine and drying rack to keep laundry simple. A flight of stairs leads up to the mezzanine sleeping platform, where the king bed sits under the eaves; note the low beams and restricted height up here. The ground-floor bathroom has a walk-in rain shower with step-free access, and towels and toiletries are provided. Parking is free on premises, with room for 2 cars on the gravel space right beside the front door. The barn sits on Marshwood Farm, with the garden, patio and countryside views just outside. Other things to note The mezzanine bedroom is reached by a flight of stairs, and the low beams up there mean restricted headroom. Guests who prefer to avoid the stairs can use the pull-out double downstairs. The farm lane in is unmade and a little bumpy, so a slow, steady approach works best. Important Information: • Guests are not required to pay a security deposit for this stay. Please take care and tidy up after yourself during your stay. • Early check-in and late check-out will be available on request, subject to availability, at £20 per hour, up to a maximum of 2 hours. This can be arranged after booking through a secure third-party platform.
