Peaceful 4BR Country Home – Sauna – 10 min to JMU

Welcome to our 4br home. The 1-acre yard, surrounded by farmland, has a fenced yard, a playhouse, and plenty of space. Relax by the fire on the patio or enjoy nearby Silver Lake. Our solar-powered home also features a Level 2 EV charger for your convenience. Amazing sunsets. 10 minutes from JMU and downtown harrisonburg. With lots of hiking and natural water near by (lake, rivers, etc.). The space Our house is located in the beautiful countryside of Dayton (in Rockingham county) but very close to the city of Harrisonburg. 12 minutes from I-81 exit 243, 10 minutes from downtown Harrisonburg, 10 minutes from JMU, & 30 minutes from Massanutten. We installed solar panels, so now the entire home is solar-powered. Guest access Guests can park in the carport and in the front lawn. And you may charge your vehicle with the EV charger if you have an electric vehicle. Guests have an entrance the house through the front door. If needed, you can also park in the lawn. But do not block the driveway Guests get the entire main part of the house to themselves. The doors connecting the suite to the main side of the house through the shared laundry room with the tenants on the other side will remain locked. The laundry room door locks automatically so do not pull it shut if you do use the laundry room. If you do, you may need to re-enter the house by leaving out the back door and walking back around. The backyard and fire pit are yours to privately enjoy. Although you may see suite guests in the backyard if they’re taking out their trash or picking fruit from the trees. There is a wood stove fireplace in the living room but please do not use it. Other things to note No cigarettes, smoking, vaping, marijuana, or illegal drugs on the property. We have various fruits that grow on the property that you’re welcome to pick when in season: Apples, peaches, raspberries, blackberries, and mulberries. No events or parties please. And please remove shoes in the foyer. If you’re there for longer than 7 days, please water the plants once a week 🥰 but if you’d rather, let me know and I’ll have the tenants next door handle the watering during your stay.
