Description
Welcome to Cortijo Orea. A rural accommodation within walking distance to the village, about 500 meters. There are all amenities such as restaurants, shops, bakery, butcher shop, fish shop and gym. The house has recently been renovated to a high standard and has all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Swim in the pool located among the fruit trees or spend the day in the shade on the large terrace where you will find a lounge area and dining area adjacent to the well-equipped outdoor kitchen. You can reach the coast within 30 minutes. The space Cortijo Orea is located below a picturesque Spanish village with a fantastic view of the mountains, Lake Vinuelas and the sea in the distance. On the huge covered terrace you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset and in the middle of the field of view on top of the mountain you will see the village of Comares. The terrace, which mostly offers shade from the strong sun, is furnished with a lounge area with room for many people and also a large dining table with room for at least 10 people. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven, grill, sink, gas stove and refrigerator. In front of the house there is a garden with fruit trees and flowers. There are tables with seating and a couple of sun chairs for relaxing and resting or for reading a book in the shade of a tree. The pool is about 40 meters below the house and is located among olive and orange trees. Around the pool there is a lawn with sun loungers. Parasols for shade and outdoor shower are also available here. There is a stream and also a spring so you can enjoy the sound of flowing water. You reach the pool via a paved walkway. The walkway slopes slightly and consists of a few steps. Please note that smaller children must be kept under supervision due to the risk of falling as the garden on one side of the house has large level and height differences and fences are not available. The walk down to the pool is lined with large level differences and small children must be kept under supervision due to the risk of falling. There's no fence around the pool. The pool is not covered. Parents must supervise their children. The house, which is completely renovated in bright Scandinavian style, consists of 4 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, the other three are upstairs. All bedrooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a hairdryer in all bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed that is 180 cm wide. The other two have a double bed with two 90 cm wide beds that can be moved apart if necessary. The beds and bed mattresses are of very good quality. Extra beds are available in some of the bedrooms for more beds. All windows have shutters that can be closed for the night for blackout. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with a smart TV with many different channels and there is a fireplace for cold evenings. There are two large sofas and an armchair. There's also Wi-Fi. Board games can be found in the TV cabinet. In the hall where the stairs go up to the upper floor there is a toilet with a washing machine. There is also a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Under the stairs there is storage with iron, ironing board, drying rack, mop and vacuum cleaner. In the well-equipped kitchen, there is all the equipment needed to be able to cook. There is plenty of porcelain, glass and cutlery. The dining area has space for 10 people with extra chairs. The house is located at the end of the road and has a unique location as it is private and quiet without direct neighbors and passing traffic. It makes the area around the house and pool area very private. But you still have walking distance to the village that offers everything you could need. Within 500 meters you will find the main street with grocery stores, restaurants, bars, bank with ATM and hairdresser. There are also butchers and clothing stores. The village market is 500 meters away and is held once a week in the square behind the church. There you will find fruits and vegetables and much more you may need. The village gym is 400 meters from the house and if you walk another 100 meters, you can buy fresh fish from the fishmonger. Continue a little further and you will find fresh bread at the baker and fresh fruits and vegetables at the fruit shop. At one of the many restaurants, you can enjoy something good to drink with a couple of tapas or enjoy a good lunch or dinner while you get to experience the Spanish village life. At the taperian further up the street, tapas are served and here you will also find a pizzeria. Hike along the upper part of the village on the nice promenade and enjoy the magnificent views. For the younger children, there are several playgrounds in the village and in the evenings the village is filled with playing children while the parents enjoy the restaurants. At the top of the village about 1 km away there is a Hyroxgym and also the village's municipal pool that is open during the summer season. Parking with space for most cars is available next to the house. The house is wonderful to live in even in winter as it has insulating glass in the windows and is well insulated with good heating. It is also suitable for Yoga trips, hiking trips or training trips. The large surface of the terrace is well-suited for Yoga. Feel free to take a walk around the grounds where there are hundreds of olive trees and as many orange trees. Enjoy all the scents and impressions that you can then carry with you in your memory! You are welcome to pick oranges to squeeze your orange juice for breakfast. Within 30 minutes you reach the beaches of Torre del Mar and within 45 minutes you reach Nerja and Burriana Beach. Larger shopping centers are located in Velez Malaga, 25 minutes from the house. In Torre del Mar there is also Aquavelis, a popular water park. It takes 50 minutes to drive to Malaga Airport. Granada can be reached in 80 minutes. Sierra Nevada can be reached in 1 hour and 50 minutes. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire house except for the two storage rooms in the back. Other things to note We can allow pets upon request and discussion with the guest. The guest pays a deposit and compensates for any damage incurred and also pays for final cleaning.
