A stunning cosy getaway located within a nature conservation area, only an 8 minute drive from Bristol Parkway Train Station. The space includes a kitchen & bathroom, lounge, central heating and a mezzanine bedroom. A peaceful haven within Bristol. Cycle paths connect the cottage directly to Bristol City Centre along a beautiful riverside path. Snuff Mills nature reserve is a 2 minute walk away, with pleasant walks along the steep wooded banks of the River Frome all the way to Oldbury Park. The space The cottage is a lovingly converted garage within a conservation area. Completely private with own access and private garden. The main space has a cosy lounge area & TV with app access. The fully equipped kitchen has ample storage, a hidden microwave and a dining table with two benches. The space is heated with a thermostat controlled electric radiator. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, heated towel rail and wash basin. The rest of the space includes a wardrobe with vanity mirror, boot storage and coat rail. A steep staircase leads to a beautiful mezzanine bedroom featuring a kingsize bed, bedside table & lighting, a small window and velux window. Guest access There is private parking next to the cottage, with access to charging for electric vehicles. Access to the property is via Ham Lane. There are bus routes from central Bristol using the M1, M3 or M4 Metrobus, stopping at Begbrook with a short walk to the cottage. Other things to note Please note this accomodation would not be suitable for persons with mobility issues. The cottage's stairs is 'spacesaving' and therefore very steep. They should be used similarly to a ladder to ensure full safety. For this reason we would also ask you to consider booking with children carefully, taking a moment to fully understand the risks. If you do choose to stay with us with kids, we are happy to provide a futon mattress set up next to the bed (not recommended for young children due to very steep steps) or travel cot, at no extra cost. There is a small dog gate at the top of the stairs.
