Formerly Wentworth Arms public house, this charming apartment conversion retains many traditional features whilst providing the modern facilities you would expect for a relaxing stay. Located in the beautiful market town of Penistone, this property is designed with comfort in mind, presenting an open plan layout with high ceilings and large sash windows throughout, giving a real sense of space, character and cosiness. The space During your stay you will have plenty of space to enjoy delicious meals with family and friends in the spacious living-dining-kitchen area. The arrangement is perfect for eating and socialising with the living room offering a cosy corner sofa with coffee table and a dining table that can accommodate four people. The two double bedrooms each include luxurious beds, ample clothes storage and high quality oak wood dressing tables with essential hair styling tools. There is a modern bathroom with a shower over the bath and supplies to ensure you can relax and unwind during your visit. The property is ideally situated for walking and cycling, with the Trans Pennine Trail right on the doorstep. There are numerous pubs and cafes within walking distance, and wonderful landscapes found locally. There is a dedicated parking space for one vehicle and ample street parking nearby. There is a bus stop immediately at the entrance to the property and Penistone Train Station is a 2 minute walk away, offering a convenient route to either Huddersfield or Sheffield if you do wish to explore further. The nearest large supermarket is Tesco which is less than a 10 minute walk away. Smaller Co-op and Spar stores can also be found approx. 5 minute walk away. Guests have full exclusive access to the apartment itself. The apartment is on the first floor and there is no lift access available. We are sorry, but we won’t be able to accept pets. Please remove shoes on entering the property. No parties, we ask you respect our neighbours. No smoking inside the property. Other things to note We have listed the property as suitable for infants and children. We have a travel cot available and a high chair too. However please note, the furniture such as the small bookcase, wardrobe, dressing tables and bedside tables are NOT secured to the walls. Please make this assessment and judgement yourself prior to booking the apartment. We have had children stay at the property previously but feel we should highlight this point so you can make an informed decision. If you have any questions, please feel free to message and ask.
