Guest access The whole home is yours to enjoy. The one acre property is full of aspens and pine trees that will afford privacy, but there are neighbours nearby. Other things to note Other Things To Note: Common Areas: Guests do not have access to community lakes or common areas. The lake is owned by a corporation and only allows members to have use and is strictly enforced. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the views and walk around the lake in designated areas at their leisure. The cabin is open and accessible year round and the roads are well maintained by the county and plowed after snow. Please make sure you are traveling in an appropriate vehicle, especially in the wintertime. No ATV/UTVs: The roads are county roads and unlicensed vehicles are illegal. You may not drive your ATVs to the nearby trails, they must be transported there. Occasionally we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks that may be left behind from other guests. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. Please be advised: Violation of pet or smoking (inside) policy $300 minimum deep cleaning due to significant health risk to owner. Guests that fail to vacate the property at the designated checkout (initial 10 minute grace period) will be subject to a fee of $75 for every half hour increment. Absolutely NO open fires are allowed. The risk of wildfire for the area is too high. We are at 9,200 feet in elevation — altitude sickness can occur but you can do things to prevent it and alleviate symptoms including: Taking a day to rest when you arrive. Drink extra water and stay well hydrated (avoiding alcohol will help). (The tap water is from natural spring water and is delicious and safe to drink.) Wear sunscreen, even when it is cool or cloudy.
